Our APAC Superhero team recently attended Malaysia Business Events Week 2025 in Kuala Lumpur. This was a great opportunity for the team to network and exchange with vendors and suppliers, as well as Malaysia Convention & Exhibition Bureau (MyCEB) who organised the event. Talking about their experience, our team reported 'Attending the MBEW for the first time was a wonderful experience. We were privileged to witness the evolution of the MICE industry in Malaysia, which has become both robust and innovative. The key takeaways from this trip include the opportunity to connect face-to-face with various suppliers and vendors at the event, as well as the realisation of the many exciting opportunities for creating and managing events in Malaysia, made possible by the ecosystem of suppliers led by MYCEB. We look forward to organising our next conference and business event in this vibrant country!' Thanks for the update team - great to see you out and about!

One of the fastest growing events opportunity? (set to 2x in value by 2026) Events in Asia! While, between Thailand and Singapore this week, I have been blown away by conversations I am having, and the staggering growth and opportunity in this region. Here's the focus: 1. Destination is everything The world wants to combine business/personal travel. (I am here with my family for example.) Make the location of your event great. People will show gratitude through increased attendance. 2. Unmatched content execution We all know content is key, but Asia does this so well. - Loads of cameras involved in the events. - Great reach on socials. - Extended ROI of the events. 3. Experiences are key Gone are the days of traditional trade shows = highest ROI. "In" are unique event experiences that prioritizes: - The people over the numbers - Memorability over status quo - Invite only over everyone come Let's learn from Asia's event playbook here! #events #growth #b2bmarketing

The Business Events industry will continue to be a major contributor to Singapore's tourism performance. Events ranging from corporate meetings, workshops and conferences, all the way to conventions and tradeshows. I have had the opportunity to see (especially from my years as a business events manager) how the coming together of professionals and business executives generate high levels of collaborative initiatives, business development, knowledge sharing, and opportunities for individuals to grow professionally. One of Singapore Tourism Board's newer videos is a great reflection of how impactful business events can be: https://lnkd.in/gKS3Ti3c I do, however, have one caveat. Our tourism industry cannot just rely on Business Events to drive performance. As a destination, we need to be continually looking at how we create and curate new and desired experiences that bring meaning and aspirational fulfilment to potential visitors. Although small, we do have greenfield spaces in Singapore for the development of such products. This requires immediate attention as time is required to develop and build these experience offerings. BUT the Business Events industry is going to remain strong for Singapore!!!

Last week, in the first of an ongoing series of clinics facilitated by TCEB Thailand Meetings Incentives and it's in market partners, our very own Kate Schulz FCM Meetings & Events Account Manager, shared insights on the Australian market behaviors, trends and what our key clients need to help them choose the best destination for their incentive program. Kate emphasized to suppliers the importance of showcasing value-added moments, unique experiences, and sustainability in an incentive program during the call. It's crucial to highlight sustainable practices and community engagement, as these are top priorities for clients. We also discussed our strategy for selecting hotel partners, prioritizing the best fit while leveraging our preferred supplier network to negotiate better contractual terms for clients. Exciting times lie ahead as we navigate the evolving landscape of Meetings, Events, and Incentives 😊 #FCMMeetingsandEvents #fcmme
