Today is #earthday and at IDE we design products with the circular economy in mind. 🌏 Our temporary power distribution products are designed to be robust and have a long-life span. 🌎 Our products are designed in such a way that they are easy to repair. 🌏 IDE also offers customers a rental option on distribution boards, which means customers do not have to buy items that they may not utilise all year. 🌎 Our manufacturing team are constantly seeking ways of reducing the impact of materials in products. For example, plastic production waste offcuts are sent back to the plastic manufacturer for reprocessing back into new plastic. If we change how we do things today, we can change the future. https://lnkd.in/e5HfD_cN

Trends in Injection Moulding Sustainability and Circular Economy Integration: In recent years, there has been a significant shift towards sustainability across industries, driven by environmental concerns and consumer demand. Plastic injection moulding, being a major player in the production of plastic products, is increasingly focusing on sustainable practices. Manufacturers are adopting recyclable and biodegradable materials, such as bio-based polymers and recycled plastics, to reduce environmental impact. Additionally, there's a growing emphasis on designing products for easy disassembly and recycling, promoting a circular economy approach. ventury.in/ #manufacturing #manufacturingtrends #injectionmoulding

This has become one of the most controversial changes to packaging amongst my larger friend group. However, it is one of the most recent and innovative sustainability changes. The most reported and obvious is that the cap now stays attached and helps with the collection, but this aids with other reductions. This reasonably simple change has more significant impacts that increase the sustainability: 1. You no longer need to design the cap to "break," which means you can reduce and redesign the neck. 2. Less force is needed to remove the cap so they can be smaller and don't need so much reinforcement All of this adds up to a nearly double-digit reduction in plastics, which means less plastic in the product, less plastic to recycle, light packaging to transport and lower Carbon emissions. This more systematic approach is a great start if we are going to improve the world's sustainability. So, let's put on our thinking caps and get designing. #sustainability #packaging #plastics #design

The rising global demand for various commodities has driven manufacturers to produce extensive quantities to meet market needs. Our role comes into play precisely when these products are deemed surplus. We run a sustainability waste program, where we recycle and export materials that are scrap, surplus, overstocked, out of specification, and aged inventory. Through our initiative, we strive to minimize environmental impact by repurposing and responsibly managing resources that otherwise contribute to waste. These products range from Industrial, and consumer Adhesive tapes, Self-Adhesive paper/film Graphic Vinyl films/tapes Post-industrial Paper Plastic films roll stocks #sustainable #recycling #reduce #sustainability #zerowaste #ecofriendly #environment #reuse

Metal cans, including tin cans, aluminum cans, and steel cans, are often considered one of the best examples of circular economy principles in action. They are highly recyclable, with a well-established infrastructure for collection and recycling. Metal cans can be recycled indefinitely without losing quality, making them valuable materials in closed-loop systems. Additionally, recycling metal cans saves energy and reduces greenhouse gas emissions compared to producing cans from virgin materials, further highlighting their positive impact on the circular economy. #tinplate #manufacturing #tincan #marketing #recyclablepackaging #gogreen #ecofriendly #canmaker #lifestyle #business #branding #product #environment #shelflife #networking #innovation #creativity #sustainability #awards #teamhtw #metalpackaging #management #digitalmarketing #technology #socialmedia #socialnetworking #motivation #personaldevelopment #sales #packaging #madeinindia
