🍀 2024 is nearly finished and I feel happy, but not satisfied. 2024 was a year of many firsts, for example: my first podcast, the launch of our first natural base functional treatment, but none of this scared me… What I mean by “scared me”, is that I feel like I didn’t push the boundaries of my capabilities enough. I suppose not every year is going to feel like a breakthrough year for myself… But it has left me with a thirst to start 2025. I don’t wait for a date to tick over to start anything, but with little time left, I need to be comfortable and enjoy the time to reflect and frame my execution of plans for next year… They are already in motion. I am ready to bring on 2025 with plans that will scare me. Thank you 2024 for a safe year with beautiful experiences 🙏🏽 I wouldn’t have changed it. Amid the confusion surrounding the Common Assessment Standard (CAS), it's vital to highlight that Procurement Policy Note (PPN 03/24) endorses the use of CAS or an equivalent question set, despite some misconceptions in the market.   At Alcumus SafeContractor, we're committed to a different approach. Here are 10 things you should never feel sorry for, as a woman: 👍 being truthful 👍 acting with integrity 👍 collaborating with others to achieve more 👍 feeling it when life gets tough - emotion is allowed, healthy and real 👍 speaking truth to power when it's necessary 👍 expecting to be treated equally to someone else with similar abilities 👍 celebrating your successes 👍 saying "No" and meaning it 👍 making your voice heard above the drone of sycophancy 👍 prioritising you, your family, your private life over the other bit that pays for it all. Your work does not define you. It’s time to break free from the idea that we need to dim our light to make others comfortable. It's also time to stop apologising. Pro tip: stop using the word "just".
