In a world that constantly evolves, staying ahead is not just an option; it's a necessity. Recently, Joshua Skeens threw down the gauntlet to our leadership team, urging us to scout beyond our immediate horizon for ideas that could transform Logically into the company of tomorrow. Accepting this challenge head-on, I decided to join Pavilion's CMO School. 🚀 Why Pavilion's CMO School, you might ask? The answer lies in the power of networking and learning from peers in the SaaS industry. Despite Logically not being a SaaS entity, the insights and knowledge I'm going to gain from this experience will be nothing short of transformative. It's like discovering a new lens to view our strategies, projects, and overall business model. By stepping out of our comfort zones and immersing ourselves in diverse environments, we uncover gems of wisdom that can guide our companies into new realms of success. As we navigate the complexities of today's business landscape, I'm reminded of the importance of keeping abreast with the latest trends and innovations. It's about being proactive, not reactive, and always seeking ways to enrich our professional and personal growth. To my cohort buddies at Pavilion, a massive shout-out for the journey we're embarking on for the next 8 weeks. Eric Bomyea Kacyn Goranson Bill Glenn Ramiro Juarez Gina Rau George Beddoes Sarah Rosen Deepti Illa To everyone else, I pose this question: What steps are you taking to ensure you're continuously learning and growing in your field? PS - I highly recommend CRO School and Revenue Architecture by Winning by Design. #ContinuousLearning #ProfessionalDevelopment #Networking #SaaS #Logically

Week 1 of Pavilion's CMO School! Our first class was led by Andrea Kayal presenting on the new role of the CMO. She taught us about business leadership vs functional leadership, how to critically assess the health of a business, and gave practical advice on budgets and 'First Team' alignment. We then took that lecture and discussed it with our cohorts. My group, pictured below in post from MJ, spent a bulk of time sharing stories and practical advice about budgets, how they're evaluated and distributed. We also discussed our leadership superpowers. Coming from the brand world, I am definitely graced with more 'Foresight' helping company's become the company they want to become. A big perspective shift and recurring theme for me over the last few weeks is moving the dialogue from 'My budget' to 'the budget.' Learning that as a marketing leader I am a capital allocator and that it is my duty to look at what is best for the business with my 'First Team' and to do my part to cut where I can and advocate for what is critical. Looking forward to the next 8 weeks of learning! #PavilionCMOSchool #ProfessionalDevelopment #MarketingLeadership

We are incredibly grateful to everyone who joined us for the inaugural Social Capital and Leadership Exchange (SCALE) for Innovation Summit! Together, we took important steps toward breaking down barriers to mentorship and catalyzing the exchange of social capital for young professionals, business leaders, educators and innovators across the Southeast. A special thank you to our featured guests, including Bert Thornton, Claire Collobert Angelle, Debra Lam, Corinne Momal-Vanian and Tina Shah. From an inspiring fireside chat on the importance of social capital with Ann Cramer and Bem Joiner, to engaging breakout sessions exploring mentorship models like group mentorship, reverse mentorship and flash mentorship, the event was packed with actionable advice. Watch the Fireside Chat here: https://lnkd.in/eNDahfaz As you move forward, here are some key takeaways to keep in mind when building meaningful mentorship relationships: -Be intentional and upfront about your goals and expectations. -Remember, mentorship doesn't have to be a long-term or one-to-one relationship. -Build your own personal group of mentors who can offer strategic guidance in specific areas. -Don’t hesitate to ask for mentorship, but always respect the answer. Again, thank you for being part of this impactful initiative! #Mentorship #SocialCapital #SCALESummit #InclusiveInnovation

Wow - the last 7 weeks have been a bit of a blur.... 💡8 lots of EOS Annual Planning Sessions 💡5 new EOS Clients working through the 3 EOS Foundational Days & Tools 💡6 existing clients doing the EOS Quarterly Pulsing Sessions And I'm getting ready for another 3 clients to start in the next 2 weeks. I've been in my session room in Auckland & also made several trips to our Melbourne Office, plus Sydney, Nelson & Wellington. I just finished my last Annual Planning session for this year & it was great to see yet another business (The Attention Seeker) finishing the year on a high, strong note. I am grateful to be part of so many businesses' EOS journey & it makes me proud to see how well they are all doing. Thank you for allowing me to help you. I don't put the hard yards in; they do, but I'd like to think I play a part in keeping them laser-sharp focused & not letting them ignore their issues & opportunities. Everyone in these businesses is now: ✅ 100% on the same page in terms of Vision & the plan to get there ✅ Laser-sharp focused & equipped with the discipline & accountability to deliver on this every single day ✅ Working together in a healthy, cohesive way to fight for the Greater Good of the Business And they're getting what they want from the business... And that makes my heart sing 💖🎤 Do what you love, with people you love, make a huge difference, being compensated appropriately & with time to pursue other passions....
