Hello connections, I’m happy to share that I’ve started my Post Graduate studies in Regulatory Affairs at Conestoga College! Below mentioned are the course outcomes of PG Regulatory Affairs course at Conestoga International : -Design and develop processes and procedures that contribute to the creation of regulatory strategies related to a product's life cycle and ensure compliance to regulations. -Execute quality assurance and quality control processes to ensure conformance to Canadian, US and international harmonization standards and practices. -Prepare, manage and maintain regulatory packages and reports in compliance with industry-specific regulations and internal policies. -Use a wide range of data analysis methods to support decision making processes. -Manage and monitor change in regulations and their potential impacts on products or services and implement the respective corrective and mitigating strategies. -Conduct an industry and socio-economic impact analysis regarding the introduction of a new product, service or policy. -Work collaboratively with product development teams, applying leadership techniques to complete projects in accordance with project timelines. -Identify and apply regulatory strategies that contribute to and promote health equity in diverse communities using regulatory intelligence and strategic vision. -Participate in professional development activities to maintain currency in a changing regulatory affairs landscape. -Present technical information to a variety of stakeholders in accordance to regulatory requirements across the life cycle of a product or service. #PostGrad #RegulatoryAffairs #KitchenerDoon #ConestogaCollege #ConestogaInternational #HealthandLifeScience #Pharmacy

Can you switch industry during your career in Regulatory Affairs? It is a commonly asked question. As often, it is a case of "Yes you can, but!", and this is why I wanted to share a few tips from my experience as a headhunter The reasons to want to switch can be multiple but here are a few examples: * Moving to a more "sustainability oriented" industry * Finding an industry that is better suited to your studying background * Switching to a field that is more in line with your personal convictions or passion * Moving to a field that is not facing a barrage of heavy regulatory changes in the short to mid-term future * 💰 Your best to chance to switch without losing your hard earned benefits in the process will always be to play to your strengths: **Education and Specialization: A solid educational foundation in relevant fields like chemistry, pharmacy, biology, or biochemistry is crucial depending on where you want to work. Your studying knowledge key, your RA work experience will compliment it. **Stay Up to Date: Regulatory landscapes are ever-evolving. Stay updated on regulations that govern your chosen industry. Familiarity with frameworks like FDA, EMA, or REACH will set you apart This will help you bridge the knowledge gap as much as possible (Consider specific courses in regulatory affairs to deepen your knowledge) **Consider a slow transition to become a multi-field expert: Joining a manufacturer that focuses on multiple product classes, or cross-industry fields (or in a consultancy that boasts a strong diversity of projects) can give you a broad exposure. This will enable you to build new experience while still bringing on board your expertise on a subject relevant to the company **Build your CV accordingly: With mine and Consult's assistance, you will be able to build the optimal Resume to suit specifically on targeted positions with relevant projects and experiences highlighted.
