🚀 Thrilled to Announce My First Prize at ComputSav 2024! 🚀 I'm thrilled 😀 to announce that I 🏆 won the 🥇 first prize at the 👨💻 coding contest organized by the Department of Computer Technology at Priyadarshini College of Engineering Nagpur, on May 15th and 16th, 2024. This incredible event was conducted under the SCOoP PCE and PCE ACM Student Chapter . Competing 💫 against so many talented students was both challenging and exhilarating. During the contest, I solved three complex DSA questions within tight deadlines ⏱ , employing a range of strategies to tackle the problems effectively. For one of the problems, I used the ➡ two-pointer technique ⬅ , which allowed me to efficiently navigate and manipulate data within a linear structure, optimizing the solution's performance. Another problem required a hashing approach, which was instrumental in achieving constant-time ⏳ complexity for data retrieval and storage, thereby significantly reducing the overall runtime. These varied approaches not only tested my problem-solving skills 🧠 but also deepened my understanding 🤔 of different algorithmic techniques. The intense competition and the high level of talent among the participants made this victory even more rewarding. A special shoutout to Anurag Bawane, the main coordinator of the contest, for his stellar organization and support. Also, heartfelt thanks to our HOD, Nita Thakare ma'am, for her constant encouragement and guidance. This experience has been a significant milestone in my journey, and I'm grateful for the opportunity to learn and grow alongside such talented peers. #ComputSav2024 #CodingContestWinner #ComputerTechnology #PCECollege #SCCoP #PCEACM #TechJourney #DSA #CodingChallenge #CodeMaster #AlgorithmChallenges #ProgrammingSkills #HackathonSuccess #StudentAchievements #TechInnovation #ProblemSolving #DataStructures #CodingLife #CompetitiveProgramming #TechCommunity #CodeChallenge #FutureEngineer #CodingSkills #TechMilestone #InspiringJourney #TechEvents #WinningMindset #CodingChampion

🌟 Day 20 - #GVishwanathan Challenge: Tackling Complex Problems! 🌟 Today was all about pushing the boundaries of problem-solving as we dived into the challenge of the day: Minimum Number of Pushes to Type Word II. 🧠💻 The problem on LeetCode revolves around optimizing the number of keystrokes required on a remapped telephone keypad to type a given word. It sounds simple, but the trick lies in remapping the keys efficiently to minimize the total number of pushes. I was able to implement an effective solution using a clever approach to remap letters and reduce the total key presses. Here's a brief look at my solution: Count Frequency: First, I counted how often each letter appears in the word. Optimize Keystrokes: Then, I sorted the frequency in descending order and calculated the number of pushes required based on the keypad's key limit. Efficient Mapping: Finally, I calculated the minimum number of pushes needed to type the word by distributing the letters optimally across keys. The logic worked like a charm, yielding a solution that minimized key presses to their lowest possible value! 🔥 It was a great day of learning, filled with excitement as I applied my skills to crack this problem. A huge thanks to Shriram R Sir and the PAT Cell of VIT Bhopal University for consistently motivating and challenging us to solve such fascinating problems! #Day20 #GVishwanathanChallenge #CodeOptimization #ProblemSolving #ProgrammingLife #VITBhopal #KeystrokeOptimization #CodingJourney

Today, I participated in Code A Vita Techphilia 7.0, held at Amity University, Patna, sponsored by the Google Developers Group. I don’t know what the results will be, but I am so happy and truly grateful for gaining insights into real-time projects. The experience was invaluable. I spent several nights and days completing the project to meet the deadline. Embarking on my first real-time project was a journey filled with challenges and learning. The initial phase was overwhelming, as I had to navigate through a sea of new technologies and tools. There were times when things didn’t work as expected, leading to moments of self-doubt and frustration. However, each challenge only strengthened my resolve and pushed me to learn more. One of the major challenges was managing time effectively to meet the project deadline. Balancing the project work with my regular academic commitments was not easy. There were sleepless nights and long days, but the sight of my project taking shape was incredibly rewarding. Presenting my project at a community level was another challenge. It was my first experience showcasing my work to a larger audience. The fear of criticism was there, but it was overshadowed by the excitement of sharing my work. This journey has not only equipped me with technical skills but also taught me the importance of perseverance, time management, and receiving feedback. I am excited about the path ahead and look forward to more such opportunities." #amityuniversity #techphilia7.0 #techevent #techchallenge #coder #codeAvita #ismpatna #aryabhattknowledgeuniversity #programmer

Hey connections....!👋 I'm thrilled to share with you all our success at the IIT Guwahati Encode 2024 hackathon, where we placed first runner-up and received this Certificate and other awards. Our task was to determine the net promoter score of a company or product or a social topic on which we can gather feedbacks from. To do this, we had to gather user feedback and categorise customers into promoters and detractors of the company or product based on their feedback. We used a popular artificial intelligence tool called "Dev Rev" to reach out to various social media platforms and gather feedback. We then created a website that collected user feedback about music, including whether or not people enjoy listening to it. To gather this information, we distributed a Google form with specific questions. The responses were saved in an Excel sheet (.csv) format, and we used Python libraries such as pandas and numpy to develop a prediction model utilising the feedback we received. This allowed us to determine the model's overall net promoter score. GitHub Repository Link 🔗 - https://lnkd.in/dQ-WxPgG Tanishq Tiwari #DevRev #Hackathon #Innovation #Teamwork #TechforGood

AIR 1 Codechef (Div. 2) | AIR 27 ICPC Regionals '24 | Expert at Codeforces | 5 star at Codechef | Guardian at Leetcode | Final year student at IIIT Gwalior
🏆 Thrilled to share that I am now the ICPC Regionalist for the Kanpur and Chennai regions, alongside an incredible team with Himanshu Sharma and Dev Kudawla! from ABV-Indian Institute of Information Technology and Management . Our journey was nothing short of a rollercoaster, and I'm excited to share the story of resilience, problem-solving, and triumph. 🚀 Fate seemed against us initially, facing elimination. Our lifeline? To solve a question with zero submissions till half an hour. We dove into a challenging graph problem, identified the core idea, developed an approach, generalized it, and coded our way through. But the journey didn't end there. TLE became our adversary, prompting us to create a new DFS function. Wrong answers (WA) haunted us next, with elusive edge cases slipping through the cracks. Got two more WAs even when everything seemed correct. Determined, we did eternal debugging, checking every edge case separately, and ended up finding a false implementation, corrected it and tried it, and silence... Experienced something because of which I started. We were above all in the college leaderboard. 📈 This experience reinforces my belief in the power of Competitive Programming. It's not just about coding; it's about perseverance, adaptability, and performing under pressure. Special shoutout to Himanshu and Dev for their unwavering commitment and teamwork. 🤝💻 Also want to share that I would be participating in Arsh Goyal 6 companies 30 days challenge in January month. #ICPC #Regionalist #CompetitiveProgramming #6companies30days #revisewitharsh #Teamwork #Perseverance #CodingJourney #Triumph 🚀
