Happy Wednesday LinkedIn, I am #hiring for an entry level Junior Structural Engineer that can sit out of Minneapolis MN or Atlanta GA! We are looking for an individual with at least a bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering, and 6+ months of applicable experience. Background in steel structure, foundation, and crane design; knowledge of MATLAB and AutoCAD is preferred but not required. In this role, you would be responsible for performing structural engineering tasks for industrial facilities, evaluating, selecting, and applying structural engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria for projects and proposals involving conventional plans, investigations, surveys, structures, cranes, or foundations, and following instructions on specific assignment objectives, complex features, and possible solutions. Reflecting on an inspiring week hosting the UPM 2024 Career Fair at the Illinois Institute of Technology. More than 70 talented engineering and architecture students from the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid met with 13 renowned companies, landing their first interviews and networking prospects. It was a day of mixed emotions, a very important day for both students and companies, paving the way for many towards opportunities in the USA. Many thanks to all the participants, starting with the students who participated in the fair, as well as to the companies, whose presence made this endeavor possible.
