This past summer, me & one of my batchmate Mukul Rai, dived into the Ad-Tech space. We started with a side project, developed an MVP and recently got accepted into the IDEAS Level 1 cohort by Desai Sethi School of Entrepreneurship, IIT Bombay, securing a grant to take our project further. Our tool is designed to simplify the process of brand deals for brands, advertisers, influencers, and meme pages. It’s a marketplace that automates brand collaborations, which needs less of filtering and bargaining. Plus, it verifies content on the pages and provides detailed analytics on how ads performed. If you're involved in this space on either side, we’d love to connect! Feel free to reach out to me or Mukul. We’re excited to chat and give you access to our MVP as we work towards product-market fit. And if you’re not directly involved but know someone who is, a comment for your network would be appreciated! Cheers! #AdTech #InfluencerMarketing #MVP

Day 15 out of 30 day challenge 🌟 I am Shreya Wadhavan tell you about the Difference Between Influencer and Creator. While the terms *influencer* and *creator* are often used interchangeably, they embody distinct roles in the digital landscape. Understanding these differences is crucial for brands and marketers looking to optimize their strategies. Here’s a concise breakdown of each term and their significance: 🌟What is an Influencer?🌟 ⚫Definition: Influencers primarily focus on promoting products and services through their lifestyle and personal brand. They leverage their popularity on social media to sway their followers' purchasing decisions. ⚫Content Style: Their content often revolves around personal experiences, showcasing products in a relatable context, and engaging their audience to build a community. ⚫Goal: The main objective is to influence purchasing behavior, often through partnerships with brands that align with their image. 🌟What is a Creator?🌟 ⚫Definition: Creators, or content creators, concentrate on producing high-quality, engaging content across various platforms. Their work includes videos, blogs, graphics, and more, aimed at educating or entertaining their audience. ⚫Content Style: Creators prioritize content quality and originality, often focusing on specific niches or themes that resonate with their audience. ⚫Goal: Their primary aim is to create valuable content that fosters engagement and builds a loyal following, rather than directly promoting products. 🌟 Importance of Distinction🌟 Understanding the difference between influencers and creators is vital for brands for several reasons: ⚪Targeting the Right Audience: Brands can tailor their collaborations based on whether they want to drive immediate sales (influencers) or build long-term engagement (creators). ⚪Strategic Partnerships: Knowing the strengths of each type allows brands to create more effective marketing strategies that leverage both influencers for reach and creators for content quality. ⚪Content Authenticity: Collaborating with creators can enhance brand authenticity, as their followers often trust their recommendations due to the creator's established credibility. In summary, while influencers and creators may overlap in some areas, their core functions differ significantly. Brands can maximize their marketing effectiveness by recognizing these distinctions and strategically leveraging both roles. 🌟 #InfluencerVsCreator #ContentMarketing #DigitalStrategy 🌟 Degree2Destiny Axis Colleges Anjali Laddha 🌟 Axis Colleges Kanpur India

Recently had an opportunity to attend the ‘महाराष्ट्र Influencers Summit' at MCCIA Pune During the event, Sunandan Lele & Vikram Sathaye in their own style rightly called it as one-of-its-kind summit for bringing business decision makers & creators together on a platform similar to a matrimony or dating site and foster connection, business between both. It triggered a thought in me, How cool would it be if brands & creators just right-swiped each other and expressed their interest on a app. Creators would have all their price range, demography, reach and analytics mentioned on their profile. 😅 Brands can maybe add filters for their search based on: engagement rate, micro, macro, location, and audience age group. Creators & Brands get to pick & choose whom they wish to work with and also block the ones they don’t wish to entertain (maybe political) And, voila, you are ready to match. Once a match (right swipe), both parties can directly meet over coffee and cut all the middle men in between - The date basically. After negotiations & Kande Pohe, they can mutually decide upon an agency to work with similar to the bride and groom deciding upon the event managers, catering etc for their marriage haha. 😀 Well, of course, this would put some agencies out of business but then I mean if it empowers the creator economy, why not? I rather feel that creative influencer marketing agencies would make more business as it's also about a gamut of things to take care of once two parties are on the same page. With the creator economy booming and estimated to be the next big thing, would an app like this be need of an hour? Events like #होऊदेViral would then be pioneers in creating a revolution. Wonder if Sarang,Atharva,Arun,Ashwini,Indraneel Anand would be up for signing up on such app? 😉 #creator #economy #business #digital

📽️🤳 Why entrepreneurs are becoming influencers. Nowadays you may notice that many entrepreneurs are becoming social media influencers, but do you know why they are creating content creators despite having a million dollar or billion dollar business? 💻When did you watch TV last time regularly? The entire young generation is switching from TV to smartphones because they can watch content of their choice on smartphones. That's why entrepreneurs are becoming influencers to reach their target audience. Personal brand: Entrepreneurs are successful in their business but to become famous among their customers they have to create their personal brand on social media. Through personal brand you can also find unique customers for your business. Before Shark Tank, Ashneer Grover's Instagram account was private and today his account has more than 1.5 million followers. 📔Ashneer Grover's book 'Doglapan' became the best selling book because of Ashneer Grover's personal brand. Nikhil Kamath from Zerodha started WTF podcast. Nikhil Kamath have 800K subscribers in YouTube. Shantanu, founder of Bombay Shaving Company started The Barber Shop with Shantanu. And Shantanu have 400K subscribers on YouTube. Marketing: After becoming famous on social media, entrepreneurs can do marketing of their business absolutely free. Earlier, Startups gave crores of rupees to famous celebrities to be the brand ambassador of their company. But you must have noticed that Ashneer Grover himself promoted his startup CrickPe and the app got 2.5 lakh downloads on the first day of its launch. This would not have been possible without Ashneer Grover's personal brand. Similarly, Piyush Bansal saves marketing money by appearing in Lenskart advertisements. Hence you must have seen that successful influencers have also started the journey of entrepreneurship by launching their brands like Shlok Srivastav's Layers and Overlays, Bhuvan Bam's Youthiapa, Gaurav Taneja's Rosier Foods etc. Follow Mahendra Lochhab for more content. #podcast #contentcreationindustry #entrepreneurstoinfluencer #nikhilkamath #influncerindustry #linkedin #contentcreatorgrowth
