With pet insurance being one of the most highly requested benefits, adding a pet-friendly benefit like pet bereavement or pet insurance provides employers a step towards more desirable benefits and retaining valuable talent. Employees and employers should always be in a "help me, help you" dynamic. Prospective employees shouldn't have to report to work feeling underpaid and overworked. In the current economy, wages ought to rise in tandem with the cost of living. It is imperative for employers to ensure talent retention by offering competitive compensation. Failure to do so would result in a recurring cycle of losing exceptional talent and squandering funds on hiring less experienced staff. #jobmarket #employerstandards #equalopportunities #opentowork #candidateexperience #economy2024 #overworked #fairwages #opentoconnect

#HR_Buzzword-2024 3. #Quiet_Firing - It is the Silent route of Layoff ,this strategy enables companies to save money by sidestepping severance payments for employees who voluntarily resign. Additionally, it deliberately fosters a negative work atmosphere #Quiet_firing -- like quiet quitting -- also addresses the employee-employer relationship but looks at the management side. Instead of directly firing a person, quiet firing refers to treating an employee so poorly or disengaging them to the point where they quit on their own. It is a very common scene in today's corporate culture. Examples of how management can quiet fire an employee include the following: -little or no salary increase -micromanaging -lack of respect -keeping the employee out of the loop -low pay #Quiet_firing is a method of getting rid of an employee that a manager may not care for without the possibility of lawsuits, as firing requires documentation leading to the termination. If an employee quits on their own, the manager would not have to fill out this documentation. #HR_Trend #Buzzword #Corporate_Insight #HR

Some stats from a recent customer from implementing Foresight (these were achieved after just 6 months) - Reduced TTH by 21 days. 21 days extra productive business days for every role they recruited (3150 extra productive days so far) - Saved over £200k through better retention strategies (still 6 months to go) - 93% of their managers are now working proactively with their TA teams This is in just 6 months. In complete transparency this cost them £20,000.(but they still have another 6 months service for this). Would £20k be a good investment to reduce your TTH by 21 days and save potentially £400k? #workforceplanning #hr #talentacquisition
