We know one of the biggest challenges with smart cities is interoperability. There are challenges about the hardware parts of cities. There are challenges about the software parts of systems. And there are challenges about the interaction we have with solutions. We can magnify our vision. We can save us invaluable time. We can enhance our ability to be precise. We can refine our precision. We can amplify our collaboration. We need to make these brains more capable if we're going to have smart city data hub that can connect, they can adapt, they can learn, they can reason about our cities.

Google “smart cities Coffs Harbour local council” and see for yourself. This technology is quietly being tested in coastal cities and could spread statewide unless we take a stand. North Sydney’s smart city action plan seeks to “explore options to install sensors to measure people movement and use of public places”.
