Mastering Event Planning: A Key to Exceptional Gatherings! Last Friday, Somalis Chan from our team led a comprehensive training on the ABCs of event planning and execution. In her 2.5 years with us, she has planned countless events ranging from small internal gatherings to ministerial visits. Here's her approach: 1. Holistic Approach: Emphasizing logical and strategic thinking, the training covered everything from using effective tools to problem-solving with contingency plans. 2. Empowerment through Standardization: Participants learned the ins and outs of documentation, SOPs, and why mastering these elements ensures event excellence. 3. Practice makes perfect: Incorporating real-life scenarios and interactive discussions to anchor the learning experiences deeply. While I missed attending due to prior management commitments, I'm confident the insights shared will significantly enhance our team's capabilities.
