"Robust" is a word we use a lot here at CAPTRON. ro·bust /rōˈbəst,ˈrōˌbəst/ 𝑎𝑑𝑗𝑒𝑐𝑡𝑖𝑣𝑒 1. strong and healthy; vigorous. Showcasing the robustness of our product lines can be a lot of fun. 🏒🥅 Click here to see the stress test results: https://lnkd.in/eBNcS69E #CANEO #CAPTRON #CapacitiveTechnology #Sensors

A case study in support excellence! It is common to fast-track and de-risk the development of new functionalities by using FPGAs and evaluation boards to test new features. However, evaluation boards are often "general-purpose" and can lack functionality compared to the system being developed. Teledyne LeCroy’s local team helped Ceragon devise a customized solution so a special RF-header could be added to traffic generated by their existing Z10 Odin and Z100 Loki traffic generators. This enabled Ceragon to test a new FPGA independently from the rest of the system, significantly reducing development time and mitigating project risk. Researcher in High-Performance Computing of Power Systems and Electronics (CPU, GPU, FPGA, etc.); Power Systems Engineer
Simulation of power systems and power electronics becomes extremely slow when a large-scale circuit or system containing numerous components is to be processed. Methods such as simplifying the model and lumping identical components have been prevalent in avoiding a heavy computational burden associated with repetitive computing tasks. The paper below proposes a parallel model of the modular multilevel converter embedded with supercapacitors for high-performance computing on GPU. High fidelity is achieved with each supercapacitor modeled in detail. The GPU simulation is dozens of times faster than the multicore CPU simulation. #GPU #HighPerformanceComputing #ParallelSimulation #Supercapacitor https://lnkd.in/gRYZgde5

Helping make quantum technology useful for enterprise, defense, space, and R&D | CEO & Founder, Q-CTRL | Professor of Quantum Physics & Quantum Technology | Innovator | Speaker | TEDx | SXSW
How do you translate from a #quantumcomputing or #quantumsensing device design to a *functional system* operating at peak performance? Typically this involves a huge amount of scripted scans and manual tuning - days or weeks of exploration that often still leaves performance on the table. #Designautomation is a central challenge for #quantumtechnology. Q-CTRL has built the world's first design-and-test "Quantum #EDA" - Boulder Opal - providing everything you need to automate and optimize the operation of quantum hardware. It's all validated on dozens of hardware systems around the world - from #superconducting circuits and #quantumdots through to #trappedions, #NV diamond, and #neutralatoms. It's easy to get started and if you're a researcher in academia or a student, access is totally free! Give it a try and see why so many major quantum companies and research groups around the world have made Boulder Opal a core part of their R&D! https://lnkd.in/g5p2KKKB

Unexpected Day 6 ✅ A surprise bonus lab to conclude this incredible challenge 🤩 This final challenge involved scaling up the results from Lab 4 to a staggering 50 qubits! As the system size increases, optimizing the Variational Quantum Classifier (VQC) and reducing its depth becomes essential. This optimization is critical because the mapping used for the GHZ state scales linearly with the number of qubits. #IBMQuantumChallenge2024 #QuantumComputing #Qiskit #VQC
