The project is expected to create around 250 agricultural jobs in the next three years and involve an investment of over $5 million in the facility, which will have a positive economic impact on Arizona. The company's decision to expand its operations in Arizona is a strategic commitment aimed at promoting innovation, collaboration, and growth in the state. NatureSweet plans to utilize over 44 acres of greenhouse space to extend its product line from D'Vines cherry tomatoes to other conventional and organic products. The expansion has received support from Arizona's officials, including Governor Katie Hobbs and Congressman Juan Ciscomani, who recognize its potential to strengthen the local economy and agriculture industry. 8moSo what they are saying is that they spend 5 million dollars cleaning up some of the facility to get ready for a crop cycle. No new acreage just restarting what they had shut down for the past decade.
