Though SuRe Standard had transitioned to the next level: FAST infra label… However, based on my long personal experience or engagement on d ground: local government units & communities wherein the emerging trend is “Eco Ecosystem Approach of Policy Making, Planning & Investments Prioritization”wherein todate it is still in dire need for a unified & share-able standards or criteria, still this remnant of SuRe Standard below is still strongly relevant as the keystone or linchpin on how to make it really an Eco System Approach…todate, I’m still using & pushing it…as vetting tool & as scorecard… Thanks GIB Foundation…

[What were typical mistakes in conducting stakeholder research?] Check which mistakes to avoid during the #DesignThinking process, based on three simple tips from APMG International👇👇👇 Save the date and join our webinar in October which starts in 26 days: 🗓️Oct 17, 2024 4:00PM CEST
Stakeholder research is a key step in the design thinking process, but it is easy to make mistakes that can distort the results. Avoid these common mistakes during stakeholder research: 1. Don't just ask 'what' - ask 'why': Allow stakeholders to explain the motives behind their needs. 2. Avoid assumptions: Don't assume you know what stakeholders think. Be open to surprises. 3. Conduct research iteratively: Collect data continuously so that you can continuously refine your understanding. 🔍 What were your biggest challenges when conducting stakeholder research? Join us on Thursday 17th October 2024 at 3pm BST for an exciting live event, Navigating Business Challenges with Design Thinking! Discover innovative strategies to solve real-world problems and drive your business forward. Created the Minimum Viable Replacement and the Watermelon Detector to help organizations modernize legacy systems with less pain & more gain. Led $20M Modernization. Drove over $50M in savings & revenue annually.
Want to avoid exploding watermelons? You know, the projects that are supposedly "green" until almost the very "end", when they finally blow up and cover everyone in red. Then come join me and I'll introduce you to the Minimum Viable Replacement, the Watermelon Detector, and share other insights I learned from spending $20 million of FedEx's money leading a global modernization initiative! On Wednesday, July 17th at 6 PM EST I will be presenting to the Columbus chapter of the International Institute of Business Analysis. Sign up and learn how to: 🌟 Reduce costs and timelines while delivering greater value sooner 🌟 Deliver quick wins while minimizing technical debt 🌟 Better estimate the project’s actual size 🌟 Avoid Exploding Watermelons and the Titanic Syndrome And: 😱 Why the Minimum Viable Product approach almost guarantees disaster. 🥳 How the Minimum Viable Replacement framework enables you to avoid costly rework. 🛠️ Ways you can quickly identify, mitigate, and communicate critical risks using the Watermelon Detector. Listen to what others have said about my presentations, framework and tools! “FANTASTIC! The two of us on my team for your talk were feverishly messaging the whole time about how valuable and relevant your content is.” – Feedback from Music City Agile Conference attendee Best of all, the event is free, virtual, and is open to nonmembers from around the world. So sign up, and learn how to avoid becoming one of the 80% of modernizations that fail to meet their business objectives. Link in the comments.

If you are into evaluation, and thinking of recommending to scale-up a successful piloted intervention, remember that: the organization to implement the scaled version of the project may confront different challenges than the piloting team. In short, we just cannot advise to scale up the piloted design without some sound thoughts on the associated implementation challenges. Better conduct a scalability analysis as well!
