WORLD SIGHT DAY 2023 LOVE YOUR EYES AT YOUR WORKPLACE World Sight Day is on Thursday, 12th October 2023, and we are focusing the world’s attention on the importance of eye care in the workplace so as to reduce the rate of preventable blindness and to encourage employers to make available eye health initiatives, procedures and to promote eye care habits in their work environment, which will inturn, boost the productivity of the workforce. First step is to prioritize your eye health - LOVE YOUR EYES Second step is to encourage others around you to prioritize their eye health and that includes the workplace!! As an employer, one of your basic responsibilities should be to provide quality eye care to your employees by ensuring that eye care services are readily available, accessible and affordable to all your employees!! Very important No healthy eyes, No productivity

Once the eye is not functioning all other parts of the body will be affected which implies that we have to pay proper attention to the care of our eyes

We need to understand the importance of taking care of our sight, most times while working with my laptop, my eyes are always teary because I could sit for 4 hours working with my client. The self love for our sight is crucial. Thanks for sharing.
