A*STAR Institute of High Performance Computing (IHPC) is delighted to be part of this innovative solution that addresses the needs of our ageing population.   From understanding dental terminology and fabrication process to enhancing the accuracy of parameterised landmarks on scanned geometry, IHPC co-developed the SmartRPD (removable partial dentures) algorithms with National Dental Centre Singapore to: ✅ Automate the design and 3D generation of denture components ✅ Improve the precision and efficiency of denture fitting ✅ Enable a streamlined, end-to-end workflow for quicker and more accurate denture fabrication This collaboration aims to enhance patient care and reduce fabrication time significantly. A recent trial involving 90 patients and 38 clinicians has achieved a remarkable satisfaction rate of 95%.
