As part of the “Design Our Future” housing design challenge we at Shelter WF wanted to give an opportunity to designers to explain their process. This video was submitted by a team from WGM GROUP, Inc. and explains how they went through their process to create the design that was submitted. Reason 1 to Buy the 360 Chair - Designed to Fit Between the Legs of a 60" Wide Table. "In our research, we heard from architects, designers, and educators about the challenges they face trying to fit larger scaled active learning furniture into classrooms that are simply undersized. To help maximize these limited spaces, the most used 2 student table is typically 60” wide. While most active learning chairs cannot fit between the legs of these tables the 360 Chair was designed to fit perfectly without compromising comfort or agility." - Haskell Education Contact us to see how we can reimagine or style your classroom, cafeteria, office and more. #360chair #haskelleducation #classroomseating #classroomchair #studentseating #educationalfurniture

And just like that, back to school time is here! 🍎 Homework is more fun when you get to do it in a beautifully designed space, don't you think? When we design a home, we think about the whole family, not just the adults. #BackToSchool #PalmBeachDesign #LuxuryHomeDesign #PalmBeachHomes #InteriorDesign #GWIShowroom #OfficeDesign #LuxuryOfficeDesign #PalmBeachOfficeDesign

tsj-architekten | Elementary school, Bremen The vision for the new Elementary school is to create a place where students can feel comfortable and learn. 🥰 The central courtyard provides orientation and also forms a protected space reserved exclusively for primary school students. The subdivision into individual houses provides a clear, easy-to-understand structure, has a child-friendly scale and encourages identification with the "own" class house. 📚 Swipe to the left to take a look inside. What do you think of this design? 👈🤔 #visualisation #architecture #rendering #architecturalphotography #coronarenderer

For today's #DailySketch prompt, try making your own skyline! A skyline is an outline of dark buildings against a brighter sky. Many cities have skylines that are easy to recognize because of the shapes of certain buildings, like the Empire State Building in New York. Using items from around your home, build a city against a bright window. Draw the outline of the buildings. You don’t have to add any details. Share your drawing with us by tagging @studioinaschool 😍. Find more Daily Sketch prompts at studioinaschool.org/create.

The streets are supposed to be a safe place for people. When designing childhood-friendly streets with safety in mind, several factors should be considered. Firstly, ensuring proper visibility by strategically placing streetlights and minimizing blind spots. Additionally, implementing traffic calming measures such as speed bumps and pedestrian crossings. Creating designated play areas separated from vehicular traffic and incorporating clear signage. Moreover, prioritizing sidewalks and pedestrian pathways, with ample space for strollers and wheelchairs, promotes safe mobility. Finally, involving community members, including children, in the design process can provide valuable insights. Incorporating elements of fantasy and imagination into the design and architecture of childhood-friendly streets can ignite creativity and inspire exploration for kids. Utilizing whimsical shapes, vibrant colors, and interactive installations can transform ordinary spaces into magical realms that encourage imaginative play. From fantastical sculptures to themed play structures, integrating elements that spark curiosity and wonder can turn a simple stroll down the street into an adventure. By blending functionality with creativity, designers can create environments that not only prioritize safety but also stimulate the imagination and enrich the experiences of children in the community. https://lnkd.in/e-kydw-N #ArchitectureInspiration #ChildhoodDesigns #FantasyArchitecture #CreativeSpaces #ImaginativeDesigns #PlayfulArchitecture #StreetsOfWonder #WhimsicalDesigns #InspireCreativity #DreamySpaces #UrbanFantasy #MagicInDesign #EnchantingArchitecture #DesignForKids #ImaginationStation #StreetSculptures #ColorfulCommunities #PlayfulLandscapes #ArchitecturalAdventure #CommunityCreativity
