Hello all, I’m currently writing my dissertation on the topic of food waste, exploring how different design applications contribute to influencing the food waste epidemic. I am currently recruiting 8-10 people to partake in a focus group as part of my primary research. I am looking to get a wide spread of participants aged from 18 and upwards. The purpose of the focus group will be to discuss how/why food is wasted in the home/at the consumer level, and question how we can further reduce food wastage through design (products, packaging). The focus group will be held virtually on MS Teams, so access to a device with a camera and microphone will be required. I anticipate that the full duration of the focus group will take approximately 1-1.5 hours and will follow the structure as follows: Project introduction Question and answer discussions Product review discussions If you or someone you know (friend, family or colleague)  would like to take part, please reply to this post or drop me a message and I'll be in contact with you.
