Today's commercial landscape demands flexibility, especially in anticipation of scaling up. Acquisitions, mergers, or periods of rapid growth all require a business to adapt. If you operate with a fleet of vehicles, you'll need to scale that. Acquiring additional cars will take time and be wildly expensive. Maybe you operate specialty vehicles that will be even more challenging and expensive. Consider having your new employees use their own cars for non-specialty vehicle needs. Begin using a vehicle reimbursement program with new employees. Save money and scale easily. Work with a vendor partner and make growth even easier. It doesn't need to be all or nothing. It was great to get the investment in Stacatruc Limited completed. The first of many to come at YFM Equity Partners from Matt Gordon-Smith, with huge support from Callum Long. It took us longer to convince Matt Gordon-Smith to come and join us than it did for him to complete his first investment with us. Stacatruc is the 4th investment in the last 5 months - with another 6 in diligence across the business. We have a big team now though so plenty of capacity across all of our offices to talk about new opportunities. We can invest between £3m and £15m of equity. Either to fund a Change of Ownership when a business has £1m+ profit (MBO's, partial cash outs, carve outs etc), or Growth Capital to go faster when a business has £1m+ Revenue or ARR.

In its largest transaction to date, RedBird IMI has acquired the company behind hit shows such as Fleabag and Gogglebox. An Abu Dhabi media company and a New York private equity firm have formed RedBird IMI to acquire All3Media, which produces hit shows such as Fleabag, Gogglebox, and The Traitors, for $1.45 billion. Since it formed in December 2022, RedBird Capital and Abu Dhabi's International Media Investments (IMI) have completed their largest transaction to date. The company was purchased from Nasdaq-listed Warner Bros. Liberty Global Ltd. and Discovery, Inc. The price per ECIT share offered to ECIT shareholders will be NOK 10, corresponding to an equity value of approx. NOK 4.65 billion for ECIT. Following completion of the offer, the existing shareholders of ECIT will control Olympus Bidco, with TowerBrook Capital Partners L.P. as a large minority shareholder.
