🌍 Play It Green and G4S Lead the Way with the "1 in 100" Initiative We're proud to announce the launch of the "1 in 100" initiative with our partner G4S. For every 100 miles of unavoidable travel using fossil fuels, G4S will plant one tree—supporting communities and ecosystems in Senegal, Kenya, and Canada. After a successful trial with a key account 2450 trees, mangroves and sea kelp have been planted, the aim is to roll it out to other accounts. Every three trees planted include: 🍎 One Fruit Tree in Senegal – Enhancing food security and supporting local farmers. 🌱 One Mangrove in Kenya – Restoring coastal ecosystems and protecting marine life. 🌊 One Sea Kelp off the Sunshine Coast of Canada – Boosting marine biodiversity and acting as a carbon sink. G4S understands that creating positive social as well as environmental impact is now essential in business. They're leading the way in corporate responsibility, setting a new standard for businesses. Even better, 10% of the cost is donated back to G4S's chosen charity, the WWF. 👉 Read more about how we're making a difference together using the link in the comments. #PlayItGreen #G4S #Sustainability #1in100Initiative #SocialImpact #Leadership

🌍💚 Embracing ESG Through Philanthropy: A Heartwarming Visit to Dakar’s Orphanage ESG Consultancy NV had the profound opportunity to visit a remarkable orphanage in Dakar. This experience was not just a visit, but a vivid reflection of core ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) values in action. 💖 Philanthropy as a Pillar of ESG: Today’s experience has strengthened our belief that philanthropy is an integral part of ESG. It’s not just about compliance or ticking boxes; it’s about empathy, connection, and making a tangible impact in the world. Witnessing the resilience and joy of the children in Dakar’s orphanage, we were reminded of the crucial role organizations can play in supporting vulnerable communities. We left the orphanage with full hearts and a renewed commitment to integrate these experiences into our ESG strategies. Let’s all remember that every small act of kindness and support can spark a big change. Together, we can build a more sustainable, equitable, and compassionate world. 🌏❤️ #ESG #Philanthropy #SocialImpact #Sustainability #DakarOrphanage #MakingADifference #esgjourney #ESGConsultancy P.S.: This has inspired us to add a page on our website to support NGO’s that are ESG proof. avinjo promotes the SDGs! avinjo supports community-led NGOs in the Global South with fundraising, all dedicated to achieving the 2030 Agenda. Through this series, our primary goal is to impart knowledge and promote awareness about the Sustainable Development Goals (#SDGs). Let’s continue with the SDG14-SIX-DAY-SERIES This is day 5 ✅️ For open ocean and deep sea areas, sustainability can be achieved only through increased international cooperation to protect vulnerable habitats. Establishing complete, effective and equitably managed systems of government-protected areas should be pursued to conserve bio-diversity and ensure a sustainable future for the fishing industry. ✅️ On a local level, we should make ocean- friendly choices when buying products or eating food derived from oceans and consume only what we need. Reducing our plastic use is critical. ✅️ About 80% of all tourism takes place in coastal areas. The ocean-related tourism industry grows an estimated US$ 134 billion per year and in some countries, the industry already supports over a third of the labour force. Unless carefully managed, tourism can pose a major threat to the natural resources on which it depends, and to local culture and industry. 🌎 🌏 🌍 Avinjo.org - Empowering NGOs Avinjo #Avinjo #NGO #fundraising #crowdfunding #GlobalSouth #nonprofit #SDG14 #Agenda2030 #lifebelowwater Source: https://lnkd.in/ejeKUVb

#about1 🌍 My Greenway of Living journey: a small project that saved my life 🌍 An humble step-by-step beginning In 2016, what began as a small, personal initiative, Case à Livres inside Alama’s Garden from the RKBIENFAISANCE charity, seemed too modest to create change. Greenwayofliving concepts and projects started from home, with limited resources and a vision that felt too small for the world to notice. But when the project won the National Energy Globe Award for Côte d’Ivoire not once but twice, in 2016 and 2017, it proved that no project is too small to matter. The Energy Globe Award brought our initiatives into the spotlight, and from there, the mission grew. This recognition inspired us to keep going, reminding us that what we were doing held purpose and value. It wasn’t about how big the project was, it was about its heart and goal to create a more sustainable, connected future. In 2018, the Greenwayofliving vision was further validated when it was honored with the Green Hope and Philanthropy awards at the Influencer Awards in Monaco. This award reinforced that true influence comes from authenticity, consistency, and a commitment to making a difference, no matter how small the beginnings. 💡 It’s not about how big the project is, it’s about the potential and belief behind it. 🫶🏽 Energy Globe Award We are proud 🙏🏾 and honored to invite you to be a part of this journey, for us to grow deeper, kinder, and greener, together. 🌿 #greenwayofliving #energyglobeaward #influenceraward #sustainability #smallprojectsbigimpact #purpose #communitydriven #environmentalchange
