Habits shape your identity and your identity shapes your habits ♾️ Psychologist Wendy Wood found that 43% of what you do every day is a formed habit, so it’s clearly important to be aware of and actively manage your habits. If you fail to do so, you effectively give up control of your life and identity... First you must decide who you want to be, then figure out the habits necessary to get you there. I use a habit tracker for my 10 most important habits and review my progress daily. This, of course, is subject to iteration. In training for the marathon, I have incorporated new habits for training and recovery. For investing I have started new habits to improve my understanding of where the world is today and where it is going. All so I have control over what I do today that will create who I am tomorrow. — In week 9, I ran 17.8 miles at an average pace of 7:40 minutes per mile.
