My newly updated series, Merging Worlds, is a collection of double exposures that combines the architectural splendor of cityscapes with the tranquil beauty of landscapes. I'm carefully selecting and overlaying two contrasting images, that when blended together, work together in harmony to showcase the interconnectedness between humanity and the natural world. Despite their apparent differences, cities and nature are inextricably linked, constantly influencing and shaping one another. In this series, I seek to blur the line between reality and imagination by creating new worlds that are both familiar and surreal. Beyond their visual allure, these merged worlds are meant to inspire introspection about our place in the world, our impact on the environment, and the delicate balance between modern civilization and the timeless beauty of nature.

Just one town. Two editions. Five continents. 22 countries. Over 180 artists. And 4800 square metres painted. Artown Festival. That's what our festival would look like if we were to put it into numbers. But we're not just about the figures. Instead we are taking art out onto the streets so that we can offer it to people as a resource they can use to rethink their city in new ways. The Artown Festival is an urban and social manifesto, brought to you by the Asociația buchARTest. It's all about creating a different, lively and colourful world in the urban organism. We curate a festival that builds bridges, unites communities and shows what can be achieved when artists work together. All of this while we continue our mission to change the cultural landscape of Ploiești. Only in the ways we know best: from mural art, street art and public space events to sculpture, architecture and urbanism. Now on LinkedIn, October 4-20 in Ploiești, Romania!
