As the end of the Illuminate campaign draws to an end, I think I've exhausted my pitch on giving back to Union just to give back and support Union. So, how about this: What does giving back to Union do for you? Giving back and supporting Union builds YOUR brand. The more support Union receives, the more high quality candidates The College can admit, the better athletics teams it can field, all while keeping those world-class professors on campus. All of that helps you. The stronger Union College's brand is, the stronger your degree and brand are. Please consider donating to The Union Fund today.

At the end of the day, the metrics are a means to the critical end of revenue for our missions - but a critical means, at that! Join us if you fall into one of the following categories: - have metrics, but don’t use them - don’t have metrics or KPIs but are curious about where to start - are trying to determine how to activate your fundraisers - just want to support me/hear me speak! #fundraising #metrics #publicspeaking

Your donation changes a young professional’s path. We’ve seen positive experiences deeply root students in the community, creating a greater likelihood of continuing to invest in purpose-driven work, local communities, and the state following graduation. The Intern Foundry (IF) program is an intentionally designed partnership between the Foundry and the University of Nebraska-Lincoln Honors Program to address the “brain drain” in Nebraska by pairing the University's highest-achieving students with meaningful work-based learning opportunities addressing critical areas of high community need. Your Give to Lincoln Day Donation directly impacts the number of students we can support through Intern Foundry. With our goal of $10,000, three new nonprofits will gain interns to address community need, and three incredible young professionals will be given the opportunity and tools needed to make Nebraska their purpose. https://lnkd.in/gFYEQrzX

The ROI since Texas Christian University onboarded a Campus Creators program speaks for itself: In just one year, giving participation grew by nearly 12% overall and nearly 20% among donors of $1k-$9.9k. But, the individual stories of Campus Creators' connections with donors are really what makes it all worth it. On this deep dive into TCU's #CampusCreators program, Maureen Camerato and Harrison Klutz tackle questions like: ✅ How does a Campus Creator's role differ from a traditional #phonathon caller position? ✅ How many prospects are covered through TCU's Campus Creators program? ✅ How many videos does each prospect receive from their assigned Campus Creator? ✅ How could the Campus Creator program change the future of student-led #fundraising? https://lnkd.in/gvAXsi32 A friend sent me this video the other day. A previous Stanford admission officer saying that there's too many highschoolers starting nonprofits. I couldn't help but think, did I make a mistake in founding the Inclusive Computing initiative? He proceeded to ask 4 questions: Motivation: Why did you feel compelled to create a non-profit? My brother. He has autism and watching him progress through various school systems showed me that there's so much missing from special needs education in the US. Was there a genuine need? Definitely. So many kids genuinely do not have access to quality STEM education, and by founding a nonprofit, we can expand our reach to as many people as possible from different places. Means: How did you create it? We operate under a fiscal sponsorship from Hack Club which allows us to focus on our mission rather than all the boring financial stuff :D Impact: Have you helped people? We certainly have. We've already held a class, and this summer, we plan to hold even more. With 6 different chapters in different cities, from Frisco, to Plano, and even in different states from Michigan to California, we're continuing to make a huge impact on communities around the country. Check out our insta @inclusivecompute or visit www.inclusivecompute.org Expect big things soon!
Admitium | M.C. Short on Instagram: "Stop founding nonprofits. Before you found a nonprofit to get into Stanford, here are five questions you need to answer. Because as a skeptical admission reader, I’m thinking you only did this to get into college. #1 Need: Was there a genuine need? Make sure there’s not already someone addressing the problem. If there is, I’d start by connecting with them. #2 M

If you're looking for a good cause to support for Amplify Austin today, please consider donating to the United Way of Greater Austin! One of the pivotal goals of their work is their focus on high-quality early care and education. The first five years of every person’s life are foundational. Studies show that a child’s experiences during those early years literally build the architecture of their brain. Every $1 invested in early childhood education results in a $7 return-on-investment that benefits: - Local families, whose focus and trust lies in their children receiving high-quality care and support while they are working, - Our local economy, because it thrives with the talents of parents in the workforce, and - Our community, because children are tomorrow’s workforce and leaders. Supporting early childhood education strengthens our region into one where everyone can thrive. Donate now and make that vision a reality. https://lnkd.in/gZGmXfnv
