IAI is proud to unveil our WIND DEMON - The first of its kind- light and affordable Air-To-Surface cruise missile.🚀 The WIND DEMON offers high accuracy, survivability, long-range strike, and lethality, addressing the need for affordable, effective ammunition. Based on years of missile development, it follows a mission plan to engage targets over 200 km away. The missile combines self guided missile, with "man in the loop" capabilities. Equipped with electro-optic and laser homing seekers, it ensures precise day and night operations. It carries a warhead, that weights over 20 kg. The unveiling of the WIND DEMON comes after IAI's deep review of the lengthy recent global conflicts, which highlited the need for large quantities of effective ammunition and yet an affordable solution that can neutralize a wide range of targets using minimal resources at greater ranges.

Strictly technically speaking, it is fortunate that no international legal delimitation of outer space exist. Ballistic missiles, per definition, remain outside the realm of space activities, as they are not meant to acquire an orbital trajectory. The joke going around social media is that Ukrainians claim interceptions whenever a Kinzhal strikes the ground in the target area – interception by the ground. The fact is – the maneuvering hypersonic Kinzhal missile cannot be intercepted with current technology. In the subsequent paragraphs, I will first explain why the Kinzhal is such a formidable target and then dwell on the physics required to intercept such a target.

We often trust what we see, because we have been brought up with the saying that 'seeing is believing'. But nowadays, we have to be careful, even with what we see. The example is the video below, that I received. What we see is a video of multiple missiles landings on ground. In fact, this is all reverse, of the missile launch video, and the explosions on the ground are photoshopped. So be very careful what you start believing in, even based on what you see.
