Great discussions at Aircraft Interiors Expo 2024! Our VP, Connectivity, John Wade, was part of a #PEC2024 panel on innovative investment models for inflight connectivity. He explored solutions for a better passenger experience and airline success. Key takeaways: ➡️ The industry must push for a seamless in-flight experience where information and entertainment cater directly to customer needs. By integrating connectivity with seatback systems, we can personalize messaging, offer real-time updates, and curate content that keeps customers engaged. ➡️ The days of generic airplane advertising are fading. Just like on the ground, passengers expect relevant and engaging content. We must move towards "content-specific advertising" that resonates with individual travelers. Want to learn more? AERO Friedrichshafen 2025 will take place from April 9 to 12. Given the strong growth of the business aviation segment in recent years, this segment will be further expanded at AERO 2025. The revamp includes an extension in Halls A2 and A3 as well as in a spectacular new Business Aviation Dome on the static display. Business aircraft manufacturers can look back on a successful first half of 2024: GAMA published a few days ago the shipment figures of its member companies for the first half of 2024. Compared to the first half of 2023, shipments of new aircraft across the entire industry rose 5.3 percent, with sales up a strong 24.2 percent to US$ 11.3 billion, the equivalent of EUR 10.24 billion.
