While the Push method was once predominant, technological advancements have spurred a transition to a more agile approach known as the "Pull" system. Here, production is triggered by specific events, such as due dates or minimum quantity thresholds. Pull systems encompass methodologies like Just In Time (JIT), Kanban, and Min/Max, tailoring output to actual demand and streamlining inventory management. As a PCB buyer, your objective is to secure competitive pricing without overcommitting on orders. Both Push and Pull systems offer avenues to achieve this, albeit with nuanced considerations.
