Swissbit is kick off 2024 with our participation at the EuroCIS trade show in Duesseldorf at the end of Feb. Meet the team if you like to see the leading solution TSE - (Technische Sicherheitseinrichtung) that combats tax evasion by ensuring the integrity of the cash register data in Germany. Here's how TSE works: Mandatory for most cash registers: Since April 1, 2021, most businesses in Germany that accept cash payments and use electronic cash registers are required to have a TSE connected. This includes retailers, restaurants, hotels, and other service providers. Secures transaction data: The TSE is a tamper-proof hardware or cloud-based solution that electronically signs and encrypts all cash register transactions. This makes it virtually impossible to manipulate or delete data, aiding tax authorities in auditing businesses. Compliance benefits: Using a certified TSE helps businesses comply with KassenSichV regulations and avoid hefty fines for non-compliance. Additionally, it contributes to a fairer tax system by reducing opportunities for tax evasion.
