I'm so proud to unveil my new logo.
From a young age, I've had a desire to help people. As I grew older, this innate inclination to assist others blossomed into a deeper understanding of the complexities of human struggles and the myriad ways in which I could contribute to easing them. I've spent years studying, working on myself and helping others, all leading to this point.
The logo is symbolic of my own journey, I remember when I was a wee boy, as we say here in Scotland, bringing a bunch of dandelions in from the field for my Mum. She said innocently "awk thanks pal, but they're weeds." I accepted that without question, with my excitement somewhat squashed.
As I grew older, I learned about this amazing concept of perspective! Merriam-Webster states the definition of the word perspective is “the capacity to view things in their true relations or relative importance.”
How often do we give power to a situation or thought or opinion that doesn’t properly align with its relative importance in our life? In other words, how often do we take on beliefs because of someone else's perspective?
The dandelion is a simple but powerful example of this, some see a weed and some see a wish. At this point in life, I now see dandelions as a symbol of hope, dreams, aspirations, a reclamation of power and a refreshed perspective on life.
Remember, we weren’t born with perspectives. These are ideals that have been molded and defined by every facet of our life. Just like it took some time to get them, it might take some time to rebuild them, but with a little practice and determination, we can shift our views from seeing weeds to seeing wishes.
