The International Organization for Migration reports that the migrant flow has been steadily rising, with the numbers swelling from 153 million in 1995 to 281 million in 2022. Concurrently, the quality of counterfeit documents keeps advancing. Under these circumstances, the need for more sophisticated border control tools has never been greater. #documentverification #regula #WorldBorderSecurityCongress

Analyzing the Secretary's Response on Deportation Numbers In the video transcription, the speaker addresses the Secretary about a discrepancy in the number of people deported. The Secretary had stated that 630,000 people had been deported, but the speaker corrects this by pointing out that the actual number of ICE deportations is 142,580. The rest of the individuals mentioned were actually rejected at the border, not deported. This highlights the importance of accurate information and clarification in discussions about immigration and border control. #viralvideo #YouTube #socialmedia #trending #viralcontent #videomarketing #sharethelove #goingviral #watchthis #vizard

60 MINUTES - NEWSMAKERS February 4, 2024 / 7:00 PM EST / CBS News The number of migrants arriving at the southern border is unprecedented. Last year, U.S. Customs and Border Protection recorded two-and-a-half million instances of detaining or turning away people attempting to cross into the United States from Mexico. So what's the fastest growing group among them? Chinese migrants. Yes, you heard that right…Chinese. We saw large groups, including many from the middle class, come through a 4-foot gap at the end of a border fence 60 miles east of San Diego. Pew Research In the early months of the pandemic in the U.S., the Border Patrol relied heavily on Title 42 to expel most of the migrants it encountered at the border. The Biden administration stopped the use of Title 42 in May 2023, when the federal government declared an end to the COVID-19 public health emergency. Since then, the Border Patrol has been apprehending migrants within the U.S. instead of expelling them from the country. AG Merrick Garland - 3/3/2024 “Today, in states across our nation, extremists pass laws to ban drop boxes, limit early voting, and restrict absentee ballots. In Georgia, extremists passed a law to even make it illegal to give people food and water for standing in line to exercise their civic duty and right to vote,” Harris said in her speech. [Unverifiable voting by drop boxes, harvest balloting, and massive mail-in ballots will destroy democracy quicker than any other danger. If the vote count does not reflect the polling numbers on election day, the US Supreme Court will have to get involved. Hopefully, this will not happen. MJF ] https://lnkd.in/e_nQRajw
