Our motto: “𝐄𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐃𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐦𝐬, 𝐈𝐠𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞.” Introducing Temperate Technologies - Temperate Technologies offers ColdEasy, an energy-efficient and cost-effective cold storage solution that transforms any space into a cold room. It extends the shelf life of fruits and vegetables by 3-5 times, decreases weight loss by up to 70%, and accommodates various produce in one storage area. With just 4 units of power per day, ColdEasy can cool up to 2,000 kg of fruits and vegetables. It guarantees no crop chilling damage and eliminates condensation when produce is removed. By minimizing food wastage, boosting farmer revenues, enhancing food security, and reducing greenhouse gas emissions, ColdEasy is a sustainable choice. #Innovation is a topic close to my heart and kudos to #CII for maintaining emphasis on this topic and getting experts to bear on the subject, with a focus on Start Ups and sustainability A few conclusions from the panel 1. There is no vaccine for sustainability but there is cash to be had from trash 2. Organizations need to drill down sustainability into everyone's KRA 3. Deep tech is a subject matter of 5-10 years of many failures, which propel you to success. This requires patient capital and Start Ups with purpose, passion and perseverance to come together with principled organizations 4. Aggregation possibilities to connect waste from different industries to help circular economy is an opportunity 5. Similarly, B2B Supply Chain based startups are a virgin opportunity in India 6. Failure rates in Start Ups continues to be high, so filtering and expectation setting against the right use cases are key 7. Inspite of all the talk around funding winter, the right ideas at the right time seldom suffer from want of capital 8. The approach to sustainability has to be IP based , else the Start Ups will not be sustainable 9. The govt has created a number of forums to bring stakeholders together on sustainability but a network like ONDC would help in this area #tatasteel #startups

Our bioeconomy has grown from $10 billion in 2014 to over $130 billion in 2024, and with this momentum, we are on track to hit an incredible $300 billion by 2030. Top3️⃣ Sectors Attracting Investment: First up, Sustainable Mobility. This sector is absolutely booming, leading the charge with a whopping $1.5 billion raised from 2020 to 2022. In 2022 alone, it pulled in $1 billion across , thanks to the rise of electric vehicle giants like Ola Electric and Ather Energy. 🚗🔋 Next, we have Waste Management & Circular Economy. This sector has seen an incredible eightfold increase in investment, reaching $83 million in 2022. Then there’s Climate-Smart Agriculture & Food. In 2022, this sector raised $85 million. Key areas here include alternative proteins, organic farming, and precision agriculture. 🌾 Top 3 Levers Assisting Startups🔧: ➡ Policy Support and Incentives ➡Increased Investor Interest ➡Technological Innovations Despite impressive growth, there is a need to further expand the scale and ease of access to finance to match the sector's trajectory ✔ One thing they are doing right is nailing the ecosystem approach. Instead of just focusing on individual solutions, they’re building comprehensive ecosystems. For example, they’re integrating EV infrastructure, developing holistic waste management systems, and fostering partnerships across the value chain.
