For me, they are not separate entities, but rather two sides of the same coin. Engaging in business endeavors allows me to harness the power of technology and innovation, while my dedication to philanthropic causes enables me to address immediate needs and empower others. 🤝 This balance fuels both sides of my life. The entrepreneurial journey teaches me valuable lessons in resilience, problem-solving, and resourcefulness, all of which are essential for effective philanthropy. #Burnout hurts. For me, becoming an #entrepreneur was the cure. I'd never imagined myself as a business owner, but after leaving a 20+ year career as a #nonprofit executive, former colleagues approached me to consult for them. There's only so much time you can binge-watch TV before boredom sets in 😛 , so I took them up on the offer and found that I loved applying my expertise in this new capacity. This year, I aim to give you a peek behind the curtain by showcasing what I do and how I do it while maybe inspiring you to embrace boldness and venture into new territories.
