So we developed what we call the Nulu and it stands for a new Lulu and. My cause tail became. It being about independence, right? So, you know, I, I have permanent disabilities. I have some that are more, you know, they, they sort of phase in and out, right? And I realized that when I was injured, I don't cook. And that has a a very, very. Large impact, It's a small thing that has a large impact. People don't really think about it. And the inertia right now is about. Preparing your own food as much as you can, getting away from processed foods. And the problem is, that's great, but it leaves out a large population.

Rethink Incentives, Drive Success my own journey: In the USA, it's 70@risk/30basic - basic is to keep you in food and petrol - it doesn't cover rent/bond. I have found South Africa to be 30/70 - 30 is upside, 70 is a meager living. In the USA, performance incentives are achievable and designed to pay out. In South Africa, overwhelmingly, incentive programs are usually not achievable and are designed to never be paid. In the USA (2001), I would earn ~$3k/month basic to stay alive + another ~$6-10k+/month in commission on top of the basic because I knocked it over the fence and out of the park month on month... We earned our keep monthly, quarterly, annually. The few times I was an employee (all the time when I was the employer) we say, "I want to pay you HUGE commission checks - because it means you made us lots of money - there is no limit to the size of the commission check." If you didn't sell, you couldn't live off the base (you get a 90 day ramp, then it's fly or freefall). If you wanted a less hectic lifestyle, you earned $3k basic and $2-4k commission (monthly) and you kept your job. If you didn't earn commission, you left (usually without being asked - being fired and the walk of shame was too brutal, better to move on). OTE wasn't a fantasy, it's how you lived well.
