Traveling for the holidays? Safety first - on and off the job. At Imperative Chemical Partners, we know the importance of staying safe whether you’re headed to a job location or a family member’s house. Here are a few reminders to keep you (and your holiday cheer) intact: Check your equipment: Cars need maintenance too - tires, fluids, and wipers are your best tools on the road. Plan your route: GPS may know where you’re going, but holiday traffic might have other plans. Keep it steady: Slow and steady gets the job done - avoid rushing through icy roads or long drives. Secure the load: Whether it’s equipment, gifts, or casseroles, tie it down! Wishing you safe travels and a happy holiday season! From all of us at Imperative Chemical Partners, stay safe out there. Your loved ones (and coworkers) are counting on you. #Safety #Imperative

It’s that time of year, quick safety tip; drink water instead of energy drinks. Here’s some tips from the CDC: Hydrate before work: Being hydrated when you start work makes it easier to stay hydrated through the day. • If you are dehydrated when you start work, you may not be able to drink enough to catch up with your body’s need for water. Hydrate during work: •When working in the heat, drink 1 cup (8 ounces) of water every 15–20 minutes. Typical water bottle is 16-18 ounces so 1-2 per hour will suffice. Hydrate after work: • Most people need several hours to drink enough fluids to replace what they have lost through sweat. • Hydrating after work is even more important if you work in the heat on a regular basis. TLDR; Hydrate before, during, & after work. If it's the first time you're starting up your snowblower this season, here are some important safety considerations to keep in mind. ❄️ 𝐃𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐣𝐨𝐛: Dress in layers of warm clothing and cover your hands, head and face to help prevent frostbite. ❄️ 𝐓𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐢𝐭 𝐬𝐥𝐨𝐰 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐲: Taking care of smaller batches of snow puts less stress on you and your machine, and helps avoid dangerous clogs. ❄️ 𝐊𝐧𝐨𝐰 𝐡𝐨𝐰 𝐭𝐨 𝐜𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐚 𝐣𝐚𝐦: Never attempt to unclog a snowblower with your hands, and never remove clogged snow when the machine is running. Consult your manual on the proper way to clear a blockage. ❄️ 𝐑𝐞𝐟𝐮𝐞𝐥 𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐟𝐮𝐥𝐥𝐲: Always let the snowblower cool down before refueling or storing it. Gasoline can ignite if spilled on hot engine parts. Never refuel a snowblower while it is running. ❄️ 𝐀𝐥𝐰𝐚𝐲𝐬 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐭 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐬𝐧𝐨𝐰𝐛𝐥𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫 𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐝𝐨𝐨𝐫𝐬: Never start it in the garage to help protect against fire, explosion or carbon monoxide poisoning. ❄️ 𝐓𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭 𝐬𝐧𝐨𝐰 𝐜𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐥𝐢𝐤𝐞 𝐚 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐨𝐮𝐭: Clearing snow is a task you don’t do often and may be more strenuous than you anticipate. If you become short of breath, your heart starts racing or you lose feeling in your hands or feet while snowblowing, stop and seek medical help.

🚧 Safety First: The Maintenance Chronicles! 🛠️ Hey there, safety superheroes! 🦸♂️🦸♀️ Let’s talk about something that’s as essential as your morning coffee: regular maintenance and inspections!** ☕🔄 Picture this: you’re about to start your day, and you hop on that trusty piece of equipment, ready to conquer the world. But wait! What if that machinery has been slacking off like it’s on vacation? 🚫🌴 You wouldn’t want a surprise breakdown turning your productive day into a “Let’s call for help” saga, right? Here’s the deal: always check your gear before diving in. Think of it as a pre-game warm-up. You wouldn’t go running a marathon without stretching, would you? ⚠️ So, give that equipment a little love and attention to avoid accidents and keep everything running smoothly. And hey, if you spot something that looks off—like a loose bolt or a suspiciously wobbly ladder—don’t just shrug it off! 📢 Report those hazards ASAP! Remember, safety isn’t just a one-person job; it’s a team sport! So let’s keep our workplace safe, efficient, and accident-free. Together, we can make sure that everyone goes home with a smile and not a story about “that time the equipment decided to take a nap.” 😄 Stay vigilant, stay safe, and let’s keep the good vibes rolling! 💪 #SafetyFirst #MaintenanceMatters #TeamEffort https://lnkd.in/ddfsUgrM https://lnkd.in/dM6mxdMj
