SDRs: You might be getting great MQLs from marketing. -Content downloads -Webinars -Events They're doing their job warming up qualified accounts and personas for you. But, that doesn’t mean they’re always ready for a demo. So don't blow it! Instead, try the “read the room” method. When you reach out to the prospect, instead of trying to book a meeting, ask them what piqued their interest in (MQL source) Then, meet them where their at and pivot based on their response. Some might be ready to learn more about the problem you solve. Some may want more content and need to be nurtured more.. Some may not be qualified. But the point? Just because someone downloads an eBook, doesn’t make them “sales ready” Meet your prospects where they are in their buyers journey and adjust messaging appropriately :)
