At BGSW/CSR, we are committed to serving with love and compassion. In fact, our vision for the future includes nurturing inclusive communities, caring for our environment, and ensuring a sustainable future. But how do we achieve this? Well, to exercise this vision, we have prepared the 7 stages of innovation for CSR. Today, we cover the first stage – Community Connects and Dialogues. The first step involves building rapport and connecting with the targeted communities and implementation partners. This, in turn, helps us zoom in and highlight the stakeholders' genuine concerns, passion, and purpose for the cause. In the process, we learn from our past activities and set our aspirations for the future. Overall, we aim to look beyond the superficial layers and communicate about the root causes, opening new avenues for implementing tech-led innovation. Moreover, the constant conversations with the communities preserve and promote long-term collaboration. As we bid farewell to another year, it's only fitting to take a moment to reflect on the experiences, challenges, and growth we've encountered together over the past 12 months. On December 1st, RGi celebrated a very important milestone - the #10yearanniversary of one of our most important company leaders, Morgen Szaszy. Not only does Morgen run our Human Resources department, she is also one of the chief architect's of the RGi Experience - where RGi employees take front seat in all aspects of our company's culture. Today marks my one-year anniversary at Orion Innovation! Looking back, I am so proud of the person I was a year ago, taking a leap into the unknown and welcoming the discomfort of change. Back then, I felt trapped in a cycle of monotony, yearning for a new challenge in my career. Fast forward to now, and I've not only embraced that challenge but have thrived because of it. In just twelve months, I've refocused my career towards Total Rewards, setting my sights on earning my CCP certification. The progress I've made fills me with pride and excitement for the journey ahead. As I reflect on this past year, I'm inspired by the growth and transformation I've experienced. DEIB Week: Not a One-Off Event But a Year-Round Commitment This week was DEIB Week at DHL and DHL Consulting. We held a series of enriching activities and discussions making it a great opportunity to pause, reflect, celebrate, and gain renewed energy to drive our DEIB initiatives forward. But it doesn't end there. While designated weeks like DEIB Week are crucial for raising awareness and sparking important conversations, it is vital to remember that Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEIB) are not just initiatives to be spotlighted intermittently. They are foundational principles that must be woven into the fabric of our daily operations and organizational culture. Here’s why year-round dedication to DEIB is essential: Sustained Progress: Real change takes time. Continuous efforts ensure that DEIB goals are not merely aspirational but are systematically pursued and achieved. Regular training, policy reviews, and engagement activities keep the momentum going. Inclusive Culture: Building a truly inclusive environment is an ongoing process. It requires constant nurturing to ensure that all team members feel valued, heard, and empowered to bring their authentic selves to work every day. Innovation and Growth: Diverse teams bring varied perspectives that drive innovation and creative problem-solving.
