it’s time for a new era where truth and transparency outweigh fear. our belief in a democratic consensus, strengthened by the common resolve of our community, is why we’ve built this product—to unlock the power of our collective voices and bring us closer to org/humanity 2.0. we’ve seen silence persist for too long on issues that should be brought to light. we’ve heard the conspiracy theories, shared space with the elephants in the room, and left the skeletons in the closet. no more. our purpose is fueled by our desire to foster an environment where honesty prevails over secrecy, and progress is driven by unity, not division. together, we can create impact that amplifies our voices and leads to a stronger, more hopeful future. join the movement. https://bit.ly/3RrEc0I #CONSENSISM #THEFUTUREISUS #JOINTHEMOVEMENT #INHOUSE #humanity #socialcollective #Transparency #EmployeeEngagement #Leadership #Equality #Innovation #WorkCulture #HumanWorkplace #EmployeeFeedback #EmployeeExperience #InclusiveWorkplace #TrustInLeadership #EmployeeTrust #WorkplaceTrust

From the desk of Dr. Gerilyn Davis: Happy Friday! I hope you are looking forward to a weekend reset. Resets can help us reframe our current situation. In Phase Five: Daily Assessment of the SWORD Inclusion System for Organizations, we reset with an inclusive culture that permeates the organizational system. Here are some examples: --- UNKNOWN SENSITIVITY: When encountering unfamiliar things, we automatically respond negatively. Thus, we center on conditioning ourselves to neutralize that response. --- REACTIVATE INCLUSIVE SKILLSET: We were born inclusive, curious about what the world had to offer, and were conditioned otherwise. We reactivate that skill. --- EMBRACE THE TRANSFORMATION: Inclusion is a cultural phenomenon. It’s transformative. We can witness our organizational rebirth. The only way to embark on the unknown and embrace organizational healing from the lack of inclusivity is to keep planting seeds of inclusion. What we value, we compensate for accordingly. It makes inclusion worth it. Enjoy the weekend! #joyofinclusion #inclusionexpansion #inclusionincludesyoutoo #InclusionontheSlopes #PhaseFiveDailyAssessment #organizationalinclusion

Thought Leader in the Unwritten Rules of Work | Culture Connoisseur | Organizational Development & Change Management Consultant & Speaker
This isn't just a provocative statement—it's a historical reality with profound implications for our present and future. In my latest blog post, I dive deep into the often-overlooked connections between race, class, and economic inequality in America. From Bacon's Rebellion to modern workplace dynamics, I explore how unwritten rules have been used to maintain divisions and perpetuate inequality. But here's the twist: understanding these rules is also the key to breaking them. Whether you're a business leader striving for genuine inclusivity, a professional navigating complex workplace cultures, or simply someone interested in creating a more equitable society, this post offers insights you won't want to miss. In my roles as a professor and consultant, I am often met with discomfort when facilitating discussions around degradation, oppression, and systemic inequities. These conversations are never easy, but they are necessary. Growth happens in these uncomfortable spaces through productive struggle—when we challenge biases and reflect on our role within larger systems of inequity. Here are a few tips to foster productive, uncomfortable conversations: 1. 👂 Listen to Understand: Prioritize listening over reacting. Seek to understand experiences different from your own. 2. 💡 Lean into Discomfort: Growth happens when we sit with uncomfortable truths. Avoiding them perpetuates harm. 3. ❓ Ask Reflective Questions: Don’t shy away from difficult questions, even when the answers challenge your worldview. 4. 🔄 Be Open to Change: Be willing to adjust your thoughts, behaviors, and actions as you learn and grow. True transformation requires a commitment to productive struggle—pushing past discomfort to create environments of inclusion and equity. Let’s create spaces where everyone’s voice is heard. How will you take a step today toward building more equitable spaces in your organization or community? #Diversity #Equity #Inclusion #Leadership #SocialJustice #ProductiveStruggle #Belonging #OrganizationalChange #Equity

Integrity is about staying true to your moral compass and aligning your words and actions, no matter the circumstances. In the workplace, we have a powerful opportunity to be agents of positive change. We can help dismantle systemic oppression and create a more inclusive environment by advocating for policies that promote equity for historically marginalized groups. As we navigate our professional journeys, we must reflect on whether the organizations we are a part of align with our values. If we find a disconnect and concrete actions toward change are lacking, it may be time to reassess how we want to be identified and where we can make the most significant impact. It takes courage to step away from situations that no longer serve us or have no intention of making real change. However, by doing so, we are protecting our peace and freeing ourselves to redirect our energy toward places ready to embrace growth and transformation. Let your moral compass guide you towards opportunities where you can truly make a difference in supporting equity for all. Remember, each one of us has the power to be a catalyst for positive change. By staying true to our values, advocating for equity, and being willing to make tough decisions, we can collectively create a workplace and a world that celebrates diversity, inclusion, and justice for all. So let your light shine bright, and use your unique talents and voice to make a meaningful impact wherever your path may lead. #Equity #Inclusion #Integrity #WorkplaceCulture #InclusivePolicy #Transformation #DEI #EquityForAll #RealChange

Neuroinclusion and Workplace Fairness by Design | Keynote TedX Public Speaker | Consultant | Innovative Learning and Multimedia Design | Neurodiversity and Psychological Safety Specialist
I agree 100% and couldn’t have expressed this as clearly and impactfully as Ludmila Praslova, Ph.D., SHRM-SCP, Âû. If you consider yourself a #Leader, a great expression of #InclusiveLeadership would be to embrace vulnerability, examine your policies and practices with a critical and consciously aware eye, and revise any as needed to ensure they respect and protect the #HumanDignity of even the most vulnerable among the #Neurodivergent community. Honoring human dignity is a foundation of inclusion. Dignity, as described by the dignity expert Donna Hicks, is the inherent value we are all born with, something unconditional, and something we don’t need to earn or ask anyone for. I see dignity as preceding #inclusion and as a necessary condition for facilitating belonging. If individuals and societies recognize the inherent dignity of every person, it sets a foundation for inclusive practices—not the "inclusion illusion" that requires people to change or assimilate. When organizational #culture is built on dignity, humans are not cogs in the machine, pounded and hacked to fit in, but are valued and unique contributors. 🌱 With the foundational sense of being valued, humans thrive. 🌱 Mental Health and wellbeing improve. 🌱 Creativity and innovation thrive, and the collective thrives. 💖🧠 In application to neuroinclusion, neurodivergent differences are still often seen as "less." Ensuring that individuals, institutions, and society apply the dignity lens and dignity principles to understanding all humans, specifically neurodivergent humans, is a necessary condition for belonging and well-being. 🌱In the workplace, the focus on dignity is a foundation for removing barriers that excluded neurodivergent talent for too long. 🌱It is a foundation for neuroinclusive leadership and human resources practices. 🌱It is a foundation for positive change that lasts. That is why "dignity"—currently, not the most "high search value term"—is part of my title, "The Canary Code: A Guide to Neurodiversity, Dignity, and Intersectional Belonging at Work." 💖🧠 Because dignity is a crucial human value. And that is the Saturday Sneak Peek.💛 #MentalHealth #creativity #neurodiversity #belonging #innovation #dignity #leadership #InclusiveLeadership #HumanResources
