Are you ready to Activate & Amplify your MC Mojo? Then let's go! There are a lot of organisations that either hold internal Leadership Development Days, Conferences, Peer-Peer learning days, or host Customer/Client Events.  Often either their budget doesn’t stretch to get an external MC to come in, or they use internal people to MC & host the event as a development opportunity. Given my own MC Mojo and my work in the Connection, Engagement, and Story telling space, and at the request of a couple of clients, I’ve put together a program to help people upskill in the art of Mc-ing.  (There’s a bit more to it than meets the metaphorical mic!) The MC is the magic link between the audience, speakers, content and ultimately, the experience - for everyone involved. They are the face and voice of the day and crucial to any event. When events are MC’d well, audiences are engaged, energized, inspired and things just seem to 'magically' flow. *Spoiler: There’s a lot more that goes on behind the scenes before the ‘on Stage’ begins, and that is what this program is all about. It’s a great opportunity for people to learn how to bring passion to the podium and host your organisations events like a pro. 😊    If you’ve got internal people that you think fit the bill for potential MC talent development, send them my way! Absolutely loved reading Unreasonable Hospitality by Will Guidara. First, because I connect so deeply with his story and passion for hospitality. And second, because I can see the many opportunities organisations have to be just a little bit more unreasonable about how they make people feel. Whether you are in the hospitality industry or not. I felt a little less alone in my perfectionnism (I, also re-make the bed after my husband has made it) and in the deep care I put into everything I do. 🔊 WEPA Professional Townhall Week: Strategic direction, open dialogue, transparency and team alignment 🔊 Leading in transformation processes requires a clear vision and strategy with a strong why, how and what for the journey as well as an engaged organisation with a lot of energy to make change happen.  I was able to experience all of this last week with my management team during our townhall week across the teams we met at our sites in Europe of our Business Unit Professional. And it is so important to get this feedback from inside of the organisation whether we are all buying into our strategy and getting all the information, resources, support and leadership empowerment which are needed to deliver it. It is not a one-way street but a transparent and open dialogue which results in team alignment and to become better together.    It has been an intensive week and we are really thankful for the energy in our townhalls, the questions we got and the input and ideas we received from the teams. We know it is a journey, and we are not there yet, but what could be more motivating than feeling the energy of the organisation and teams that will drive us together with our clear strategic roadmap and the responsibility of leadership.  Let’s go for it, as passionate professionals, leading sustainable hygiene.     #WeareWEPA #TownhallWeek #Transformation #TeamAlignment  #Leadership
