The best way to build a great business is to hire people smarter than you. When Mich and I started ColdIQ, we had to wear all the hats. As a team of just two, everything was on us – from HR and finance to sales and client delivery. It was intense but that’s the only way to get a bootstrapped business off the ground. I am going to talk for myself because Michel Lieben 🧠 is great at a lot of things specifically being the most optimistic person I know while being a marketing genius. On my end I don’t think I am world class at anything, I am just ok at a lot of things. I'm still pretty good at finding solutions to any problem thrown at me. This combination of skills has served us well, helping ColdIQ grow to where it is today. However, as we continue to scale, our top responsibility has shifted to placing the right people in the right positions. I believe that a business is made up of multiple inflection points and those are often tied to key hires that change the company once they are hired. The first inflection point Mich and I felt was when Dan Rosenthal joined the team. And today, we're thrilled to announce another such moment: Soheil Saeidmehr joining ColdIQ as our Head of Strategy. Having someone of Soheil's caliber join our team is proof of the potential ColdIQ has as a company. With his extensive experience from Volley, where he managed a team of 19 people, Soheil brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise that no one else in the company currently has. His addition to the team has us even more excited to take ColdIQ to a new level. Thanks Soheil for your trust, extremely humbled to have someone like you joining us. As we continue to grow, we recognize the need for other key positions to be filled. The search has begun for a Head of Sales and a Head of Community – two roles that we believe will be the next inflection points for ColdIQ 👀

💥💥💥 AgilyCom Rocks💥💥💥 Those that know me well know that I’m a pretty excitable, glass overflowing kinda guy. And where there is an opportunity to get excited, I usually jump at the chance. I’m fortunate enough to lead a group of 75 pretty damn special individuals across the globe in three seperate but related organisations - that alone is enough to supercharge my batteries daily. We recently held our annual conference where we were lucky enough to fly everyone in from around the globe to Australia and spend a solid three days collaborating. One thing that came from this was being able to spend some solid time with our AgilyCom Team. For those who don’t know of us yet, AgilyCom is our Integration Platform - or what we call IaaMs (Integration as a Managed Service Offering). This product just continues to go from strength to Strength. It is resonating so so well with Australian business locally, in Europe and very excitingly in our neighbouring Asian market. So what’s to be excited about?? Well, for me, sometimes it’s the simplest things - AgilyCom is Aussie homegrown! Right here, out of Australia! The brain child of two local Australian technology superstars supported by a global workforce - that’s something to be damn proud of!! And that only just dawned on me!!??!!?? With the failure rates of SaaS product companies in the 90% range, the fact that after two solid years, AgilyCom continues to make us proud through our team of professionals passionate about data and integration is just nothing short of freeking amazing. Australian, European and Asian businesses / retailers of all shapes and sizes are cottoning onto how our product can make life easier for them - and being an ex retailer - that just makes me even more excited! Did you know that in the past 24 months, Avenica has successfully launched over 300 customer-facing careers across 24 different clients? Interestingly, 94% of these career launches exhibited traits aligned with either "The Counselor Persona" or "The Operative Persona" within our HAALO assessment. Individuals with the Counselor Persona are typically adept at resolving conflicts, creatively solving problems, and quickly earning trust through effective communication. On the other hand, those with the Operative Persona possess a strategic mindset, are highly adaptable, and seek rewarding work both personally and professionally. Our data shows that these personas have a remarkable retention rate of over 92% six months after launch. This means that out of approximately 280 individuals with either the Counselor or Operative persona, about 260 are still thriving in their roles today. This success highlights the effectiveness of our model in identifying and placing the right talent in client-facing positions and speaks to the efficacy of our HAALO assessment.
