We had an excellent week at the IPF long-term N*P trial in Grenfell NSW established by IPF Senior Technical Agronomist, Jim Laycock in 2007. Over 100 customers including agronomists and farmers have visited the site this week. The theme is greenhouse gas (GHG) and ammonia emissions from N fertilisers and comparing eNpower and Green UreaNV to conventional urea treatments. Some promising results so far with great reception and anticipation from the agronomy community. Stay tuned for further updates on these trials in the coming months!

I’m pleased to support and contribute to the valuable insights shared by Dr. Karl Wyant in the recent post from #CanpotexFMP2024. The discussion on Potash 101 highlighted the crucial role of potash in balanced fertilization and its positive impact on soil health. 🌱🌱🌱 In the face of growing climate change challenges, it’s essential to recognize how sustainable farming practices and nutrient management can strengthen global food security. Potash plays a crucial role in enhancing crop resilience, ensuring that farmers can continue to produce efficiently while minimizing their environmental footprint. For African countries, particularly #Ghana, there’s immense potential to adopt these best practices. As a growing agricultural market, Ghana can leverage Western Canadian farming techniques to boost productivity while safeguarding environmental health. By improving nutrient management, Ghana can increase yields and contribute to regional food security, all while promoting sustainable agricultural practices. As we work toward #ClimateSmartAgriculture, the exchange of knowledge and collaboration between regions is essential in not only feeding today’s world but also ensuring a sustainable future. 🌍 #FoodSecurity #GhanaAgriculture #SustainableFarming #Potash101 #GlobalAgriculture #HelpingTheWorldGrowMoreFood #FromMineToTable #CanpotexFMP2024 #AgrowSustainabilityLimited
Thank you, Dr. Karl Wyant, Nutrien’s expert agronomist, for your Potash 101 session! This in-depth #CanpotexFMP2024 session offered insight into balanced fertilization, how potash contributes to soil health, what farmers can do to improve uptake and forecast the future of potash use and how Western Canadian farming practices can be related to agriculture in our overseas markets.🌱🌎 . . . #FertilizerManagementProgram #Potash101 #PotashTrends #TransportationLogistics #HelpingTheWorldGrowMoreFood #FromMineToTable #LatinAmerica

Protecting agricultural biodiversity through small farmer-led conservation, development, and sustainable use of plant genetic resources.
On May 10, Philippines President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. declared the month of July as Philippine Agriculturists’ Month to honor the dedication of agriculturists and to raise awareness of the country’s agricultural sector. The stereotype of the Agriculturist is a person with a degree in Agriculture, working in a lab, or overseeing agriculture projects. But in fact, the very first agriculturists are small farmers, who produced our earliest crops through their own plant breeding work. So, throughout this month, SEARICE will feature small farmers' successes as plant breeders and stewards of the world's traditional crop varieties. Let us honor them as the original agriculturists! #SaveOurSeeds #SustainOurFarms #SecureOurFood #FarmersRights #agroecology #SEARICE #foodsecurity
