Onboarding Vs. Implementation — Your customer doesn't care When it comes to software solutions, the terms onboarding and implementation are often used interchangeably – but they actually do have different meanings. Onboarding is introducing customers to a new product or service, while implementation is setting up and customizing it for their specific needs. Yet they get mentioned interchangeably, so let's explore the differences: Onboarding is usually centered around providing information about a product or service. What’s one of the best ways #CustomerSuccess teams can help themselves build better relationships with product? When reviewing feedback, include details like: ✅ Who specifically requested the feature, and why? ✅ How much revenue is potentially impacted by the feature? ✅ How many customers will the feature affect? ✅ What value does this feature offer to the wider customer base? ✅ Does this feature address the root of the problem or is it a superficial solution?
