🚨 Among the various challenges that nurses face, workplace violence is revealed to be an alarming and often overlooked issue. Our recent report shed light on the ugly reality of workplace violence in nursing. Hospital executives reported a 66% increase in verbal and physical assaults against nurses from patients and their families in the past year. Despite ongoing efforts to enhance recruitment strategies, 80% of healthcare executives continue to face challenges when filling vacant nursing positions over the past year. We share proprietary data from 1500 US hospitals and surveyed over 100 top healthcare leaders. These were their biggest obstacles: 🩺 High competition from other healthcare organizations (40%).
