As each of us enter the final sprint as we wrap up 2024, I wanted to thank everyone of my network old, new, near and far for an unprecedented year. You all are amazing humans with lots of life plates spinning and we still manages to message, meet up or just encourage with a like and a share. It’s the little things that have the most value! Have an amazing time with family, friends, loved ones over this period, even if Christmas is not a celebration in your household take full advantage of the paused pace and enjoy some reflection. I feel like I have blinked and we're coming to the end of the year. It seems like the perfect time to sit back and reflect on what this past year has brought.   2024 has come with its challenges, and moments of growth which have shaped me both personally and professionally.   I am grateful for where this year has lead me to, the connections I have made, and opportunities I've embraced. It has been a year filled with hard work which I can now see the benefits of.   As we are nearing the new year, it is time for some new goals, and keep pushing myself. As 2024 comes to a close, I’m reflecting on the incredible journey this year has been. My vision word for 2024 was THRIVING —a commitment to not just survive, but truly flourish in every aspect of my life. Looking back, I can confidently say that my accomplishments, my brand, and the values I hold dear have more than lived up to this word—and then some. Despite navigating through grief and trauma, and the mammoth milestone of suicide aftermath and everything else that shook my roots. I have excelled at everything that came my way and my Teflon jacket is still intact from all that was flung my way. This year has been about growth, overcoming challenges, and finding fulfillment in both the big and small moments. It's been a year of pushing boundaries, expanding my reach, and fully stepping into my purpose. Regardless of the unsavory characters that show up in life. As I look ahead to 2025, my word of purpose is ALIGNED and I am excited to enter the new year with a deep focus on aligning my actions, decisions and projects with my greater vision. 2025 for intentionality, coherence, and making sure everything I do reflects my true purpose. Especially when it comes to weeding out the chaff from the wheat. I will not be entertaining the takers of the world. What a year it has been! 🙌🔥 With just a few days left until 2025, I can’t help but reflect on my journey so far. Honestly, 2024 has been a year of numerous opportunities for me. 🚀 From submitting my RISE project, becoming one of the top 500 global finalists, to pitching my project to a large audience at the National Head Girl Conference, being among the Top 5 finalists and receiving funding for the execution of my project (just to mention a few). I never imagined competing at both national and international levels🙌. Of course there were losses and rejections, but hey, it's all part of the process🤷♀️. As I am reflecting on the first few weeks of 2025 and we steadily making our way into an exciting business year, I am reminded of this inspiring words of a book I am currently reading. “I want to be thoroughly used up when I die, for the harder I work the more I live. I rejoice in life for its own sake. Life is no ‘brief candle’ for me. It is a sort of splendid torch which I have got hold of for the moment, and I want to make it burn as brightly as possible before handing it on to future generations.” This quote speaks deeply to the privilege we have not only to live but to contribute meaningfully to the world around us. Life is not simply a fleeting moment, but a splendid torch that we hold for a short time—a torch we have the honour and responsibility to let burn as brightly as possible before passing it on. This year presents us again with significant opportunities to; • Innovate and drive meaningful progress in our businesses and industries. • Collaborate with other professionals to create impactful solutions. • Most importantly invest in personal and professional growth to leave a lasting legacy. It’s a privilege to be carrying this torch. Goodbye, 2024. First and foremost, I want to express a big, heartfelt thank you for supporting me and following along this year. 💖 It’s been a truly challenging one emotionally one of the toughest years of my life and I know many of you have faced similar struggles. But here we are. We’ve made it through, and we have each other for support.
