'WHAT DOES NEUROSCIENCE MEAN FOR YOU? YES, YOU!' Have you wondered why companies' strict focus on 'mental health' conversations haven't helped much? That is, asking people continually 'are you SAD? Are you OK?!?! You sure?!?!' isn't the most human or social or enjoyable line of questioning? The results are in. Those were dumb questions dumbly asked. As humans, now more than ever, neuroscience can lead us to any PROVEN improvement in our productivity, happiness and innovation. How? Our brain. It turns out that knowing what our neural activity is doing allows us to know better than ever what it looks like when we feel happy, sad, certainty, doubt, fear or anything we might want to observe when analysing our thoughts and feelings at work. What does this mean? In 2024 there are TWO kinds of businesses. Those that USE the advantages of neuroscience to optimise their workplace wellness programs to optimise productivity and the establishing and maintenance of world-beating market-leading WORKFLOW MANAGEMENT SYSYEMS... and those that 'keep doing nothing and hoping for the best'. If you DO nothing about your current levels of employee 1. Inefficiency and ineffectiveness 2. Lack of drive 3. Lack of enthusiasm 4. Lack of passion 5. Poor posture 6. Long bathroom breaks and long lunches taken 7. Mid-afternoon staring 8. Passionless, robotic replies to any and all inquiries 9. Obvious state of perpetual boredom 10. Disingenuous behaviours. Fake or nervous laughter, 'DO YOU WANT A ...COFFEE?!?!?!' nonsense for example. 11. Standards of mediocrity 12. Mistakes with daily tasks 13. Engagement in menial and harmful gossip about people from the organisation 14. Staring at pretty little images of beaches, yachts, and mansions FAR AWAY, as they practice their daily disassociation from anything to do with you and your company 15. Lecturing one another about useless politics, family issues, unsolicited advice on life, morals and beliefs 16. Disrespect and condescension to one another 17. Passive aggressive phrases, habits and actions each and every day 18. Repression, suppression, depression 19. Satisfaction when they gain weight and then get militant about criticising ANYONE who mentions it because THEY LOVE BODY POSITIVE ENABLERS AND HATE BODY SHAMING DIABETES-WARNERS 20. Turnover. Talented people ALL HATE any company who clearly hates us and permits the above - Then who cares, right? LET THE COMPANY BURN TO THE GROUND! Take the accountant's computer monitor, pick it up and hit them over the head with it. Rub your nipples on every single employees' mouse until it clicks on the part of the screen that says 'profits from China'. Rip off your pants and fax them to Japan and ask 'Do you know any good dry-cleaners'? Spank yourself ten times - light, Western-style - and say 'Biggie Smalls' into a Styrofoam cup until your employees are magically all in love with you. Or, hire some Harvard-educated performance coaches, sort out your wellness programs and WIN.
