Institutions are keenly addressing AI education in the country, evident by AI courses made available by all premier institutions like IIT Bombay, IIT Kanpur, and others. Key Highlights:  - 40% increase in interest towards AI and data science.  - 57% of Indian MBA aspirants prefer STEM-certified programs.  - 72% of Indian employees use AI-backed tools at work.  - 73% report organizations employ AI, but understanding varies . Even the Indian government has launched several initiatives like AI for All curriculum, aimed at upskilling students and bridging the gap between education and employment. They are anticipated to revolutionize industries like healthcare, manufacturing, and customer service, leading to enhanced experiences for both workers and consumers. Examples include personalized treatment plans in healthcare, adaptive learning in education, and self-driving cars in transportation. Despite its rapid advancement, AI faces challenges like increased regulation, data privacy concerns, and job displacement worries.
