Rs 10,372 crore has been allocated as part of the India AI mission to drive innovation under artificial intelligence for five years. In order to help the country grow, a unified data platform will provide non-personal information for AI application development. As part of the mission, a National Data Management Officer will be appointed to work with various government departments and ministries to improve the quality of data and to make them available for AI development and deployment. People working with Government or public data spend a lot of time cleaning and organizing bad data. It would be more beneficial to spend this time gaining insights from their dataset instead. Hopefully this intervention will help unify and standardize formats, as well as reducing data decay and duplicate records. https://lnkd.in/gNrMD5Ke Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology Digital India Programme #INDIAai
