For a short while, #RohitSharma and #RahulDravid would have fretted that the feeling of emptiness awaited them at the end of another #WorldCup campaign. But things turned and how. They are two vastly different individuals, with contrasting batting and captaincy approaches; Rohit and Dravid during their long careers had to put up with the similar cricketing lows. Universally hailed as cricketing greats, they were always tagged as second-best since they would be part of teams that had #SachinTendulkar and #ViratKohli. In the company of God or King, they were commoners with earthy names. Dravid was the Wall, Rohit the Hit-Man. World Cups hadn’t been kind to both of them. But now, under Rohit, India have also become the 1st team to win the #T20WorldCup without losing a single game. The Indian skipper has now become the 1st-ever captain to lead a team to 50 #T20I games. The 50th triumph being the World Cup final against #SouthAfrica. And after 2 heart-breaking ICC event final losses last year — World Test Championship in June, #ODIWorldCup in November – Dravid’s boys would give “Rahul bhai” a memorable farewell gift.

This is called a journey to Success
Jasprit Bumrah's spell in the T20 World Cup final was magical, earning him the Player of the Tournament title. Born in Ahmedabad, Bumrah debuted for Gujarat in 2013 and soon made his mark in the IPL with Mumbai Indians. He debuted internationally in 2016, excelling in T20s, ODIs, and Tests. In 2018, he became the first Asian bowler to take five-wicket hauls in Australia, England, and South Africa. However, Bumrah's path wasn't without hurdles. Raised by a single mother after a family tragedy, he faced financial struggles. “I had one pair of shoes. I used to have one pair of T-shirts. I used to wash them every day and use it again and again, Bumrah told cricket.one. Despite these hardships, his determination and his mother's unwavering support fueled his passion for cricket. His unorthodox bowling action initially raised questions, but Bumrah persevered. He honed his unique yorkers, a skill he attributes to his childhood practice sessions where he aimed at the floor to avoid disturbing his mother's afternoon nap. Injuries like a back stress fracture in 2019 tested his resilience, but Bumrah bounced back stronger. He holds the record for the fastest Indian bowler to reach 50, 100, and 150 ODI wickets, and even rose to become the world's number one ODI bowler within six years of his debut. Jasprit Bumrah is a testament to the power of hard work. His consistent wicket-taking, economical bowling and death-over expertise proved invaluable in India's T20 World Cup victory. #JaspritBumrah #CricketIndia #TeamIndia #WorldCupFinal #T20WorldCup #TeamIndia [Jasprit Bumrah, Cricket, India, Fast bowler, T20 World Cup]

Congratulations #India for winning ICC T20 Men's World Cup 2024 edition. Both India (#Ind) and South Africa (#SA) entered the world cup finals undefeated, showcasing #ExceptionalTalent and #UnwaveringDetermination. Ultimately, it was #India who held their nerve and emerged victorious. This victory is quite special as India remain #undefeated throughout the tournament. It is a rare achievement for a T20 tournament. Here's my #quick #analysis of what stood out for India this time: 1) Everyone performed #TeamEffort : If you look at the 8 matches that India played - 7 distinct players have received man of the player awards. That shows the depth and determination of the team where one or other player will rise to the occasion and make it count. India was not dependent on single player anymore. 2) Strategic Team Composition #StrategicThinking : India struck gold with their perfect blend of #specialists and #allrounders. The combination of 3 specialist batsmen, 1 wicketkeeper-batsman, 3 specialist bowlers, and 4 all-rounders provided immense flexibility. This deep batting line-up offered batting options up to 7 players, with two of the all-rounders being medium pacers. This variety allowed the captain to experiment with bowling strategies, mitigating the impact of an off-day for any one bowler (like Ravindra Jadeja in this tournament). 3) Lefty Advantage #CricketingMind #BluntOppositionAttack : India fielded a record number of left-handed batsmen, creating a strategic advantage. This maintained a healthy left-right combination throughout the innings, countering the threat of lethal left-arm fast bowlers and leg spinners, who often trouble right-handed batsmen. 4) Peak Fitness & Fielding #PeakFitness #CatchesWinMatches : Team India's phenomenal #fitness and #fielding were instrumental in their success. The team showcased exceptional catching abilities throughout the tournament, creating crucial breakthroughs and turning the tide in their favor. Congratulations, Team India! Your depth, strategic planning, and unwavering grit were truly commendable. #T20WorldCup #CricketAnalysis #MenInBlue #TeamIndia #Cricket #StrategicThinking #TeamEffort

10 things this World Cup teaches me: 1. Class is permanent, even if it doesn’t work for a few times.. Peaks at the right time - Virat Kohli 2. When a leader leads from the front, and if fails once in a while - entire team comes together to cover up - Rohit Sharma 3. It’s not over till you think it’s over-India team even after SA needed 30 off 30 4. You can bounce back from the lowest unimaginable lows (even if the entire world is against you) - Hardik Pandya 5. Hardwork and Humility pays off - even if it hasn’t for decades - Rahul Dravid 6. Consistency pays off eventually-Jasprit Bumrah 7. There is a point in life which comes for most people from where getting up/getting back seems impossible.. sheer will and determination gets you back - Rishab Pant 8. Losses at a big stage are possible, important is the comeback - India team after t50 World Cup to winning the t20 World Cup 9. Nothing is above team work, ultimately every single individuals contribution matters - India Team (everyone contributed in their own way at some point in the tournament) 10. At times the smallest contribution can be the biggest in the game (even of life) - Surya’s catch 🏆 🏟 🎉👍😊 #TeamIndia #CricketWorldCup #BleedBlue #IndianCricket #WorldCupChampions #CricketFever #IndiaWins #CricketMania #ChakDeIndia #WorldCup2023

Our heroes are back. 29th June’ 2024, a day that will be engraved forever in the heart of every Indian. Like wounded soldiers, having courage in their hearts, the Indian team entered into the T20 world cup. The 17 year long wait, 11 years since the last ICC trophy, semi finals losses, loosing two ICC finals in the last 12 months, this team had seen enough. It was now or never especially for men like Rohit. How much would this team be tested? So much so, that they had to face a situation in the finals of South Africa needing 30 of 30. Who would have given any bowling team a chance to win from there. I am sure India was totally written off by many. But, this team had enough. Not anymore. Bring it on they said and we will show you how it’s done. And boy, they stole victory from the jaws of defeat. I believe, God has his own mysterious ways. Had India won in 2023, would this victory be that monumental? May be that loss was planned, as the T20 World Cup had to be set as a platform for two stalwarts of the game to say goodbye on a high. That pain was needed for all of us, so that this victory becomes even more sweeter and more memorable that too on foreign soil. Sometimes, you need to fall to rise higher. What a legacy both Rohit and Virat leave behind in this format. My heart goes out more for the captain Rohit. What if India hadn’t won the finals. I can’t even imagine what it would have been and how he would have felt. Rohit so deserved this final dance. And for the coach, the Wall, it was so needed to win the World Cup in his final frontier and how fitting that it happened in the WestIndies, a redemption from the 2007 heartbreak. Now isn’t that a wonderful design? Let’s not forget the others. Jadeja, another legend of the game, as he too bows out. His contributions must have not been significant in this world cup, but what he has given to the game in the past, can never be forgotten. In the finals, the overs that Bumrah and Arshdeep bowled in the last 5, put the brakes on. That stellar catch by Surya which will remembered forever and finally, the final over by Hardik. He reminded us, put your head down, do your job sincerely and let your actions speak louder than your words. Commiserations to South Africa. For me, this was a champion team. A team that made India grind and sweat for its victory. What a finals they laid out for us. The result could have easily gone their way. All they had to do was believe in themselves when it mattered the most, which they failed to do in the crunch situation. I see their glory moment coming soon. And finally, I would like to say. THANK you THANK you THANK you, team India for giving me and a billion others the moments of joy and happy tears. Your achievement has been etched into our hears and our minds till eternity. We have, are and will bleed blue always. Jai Hind. #rohitsharma #viratkohli #rahuldravid #bcci #icc #india #cricket #t20 #t20worldcup #sport

In the vast cosmos of cricket, some stories are written with an uncanny sense of timing and poetic justice. Imagine if Rahul Dravid, revered for his calm demeanor and unwavering dedication, had coached India to a World Cup victory on home soil. It would have been a crowning achievement, reflecting his belief in the process and meticulous preparation. But the cosmos had a different script. In 2007, Dravid, as captain, faced the heartbreak of an early exit in the West Indies. Yet, this setback was merely a chapter in a larger, grander narrative. Now, as the coach, he has guided the Indian team to glory in the T20 world cup 2024, embodying the essence of resilience and perseverance. This journey reminds us that every failure is a stepping stone, every setback a setup for a greater comeback. The cosmos aligns perfectly, ensuring that the triumphs are sweeter and the victories more meaningful. Believe in the process, for it’s the cosmos’ way of crafting the perfect story. #RahulDravid #Cricket #WorldCup #BelieveInTheProcess
