Navigate from chronic symptoms to holistic wellbeing by addressing mind-body connections I Health & Wellness Coach I Medical Doctor I 12+ years experience in health and wellbeing
Can repressed emotions really lead to pain? Yes. Dr Sarno was one of the first medical doctors to speak about this in the 70s, in the context of chronic pain. Now we have more and more evidence that emotions that are not recognised and expressed can lead, not only to pain, but other medical conditions by triggering inflammation, low immunity, slow healing and so on. Most common emotions to be aware of are: ❗ Rage ❗ Guilt ❗ Shame ❗ Fear This is the reason I’ve incorporated emotional healing in my coaching program. Lifestyle changes, like nutrition, sleep, exercise are great to take the edge off your symptoms and improve your general wellbeing. But, they don’t deal with the root cause, which is more often than not emotional. When you decide on a healing process, always see if it’s addressing the root cause. #fibromyalgia #healthcoaching #chronicpain

🌙 Did You Know? Snoring Could Be a Hidden Risk for Your Heart! 💔 A recently published study with 12,287 participants using in-home monitoring technology revealed that snoring might be an independent risk factor for cardiovascular disease, even without other co-morbidities. 📊 The study monitored participants' sleep for about six months and found that spending more time snoring was significantly associated with uncontrolled hypertension. 🌡️ Those who snored more frequently had nearly a 1.9-fold increase in uncontrolled high blood pressure, independent of sleep apnea. These findings emphasize the need for noninvasive methods to address snoring and its potential health consequences. Introducing eXciteOSA—an innovative daytime therapy designed to reduce snoring and improve sleep quality in just 20 minutes a day for 6 weeks. eXciteOSA offers a simple and effective way to tackle snoring, potentially lowering the risk of hypertension and other cardiovascular issues. 🌟 ▶ Learn more about the study here: https://lnkd.in/guVcQmV5 #SleepHealth #Snoring #HeartHealth #eXciteOSA #Hypertension #Wellness #SleepApneaAwareness #HealthyLiving #npj #DigitalMedicine
