Indiana Economic Development Corporation’s Post

Every Friday, we feature an Indiana entrepreneur's success story from our Entrepreneurship Indiana Yearbook. Here's the latest. Meet Hector Cornejo, the founder of Momax Marble & Granite. After years of battling Chicago traffic, Hector chose to bring his dream to life in Merrillville, Indiana. Since 1996, Momax has grown into a thriving full-service kitchen and bathroom design center, employing around 50 people across two locations. From custom granite and quartz countertops to stunning public projects like the waterfalls at Indiana University Northwest, Momax is a testament to the craftsmanship and dedication found right here in Indiana. With a family-oriented approach, Hector, his wife, son and daughter work tirelessly to ensure every project is a masterpiece. Momax is just one example of Indiana’s entrepreneurial spirit.
