Do you know what a Federal Executive Board is?
The Federal Executive Boards (FEBs) are divided into four distinct regions, Central, Eastern, Southern, and Western, covering the United States. Each serving as a strategic hub, linking federal agencies to one another and to 26+ communities and Metro areas, supporting federal initiatives and collaboration. Each region is positioned to address the specific challenges and opportunities within its geographic area, ensuring that the FEBs' collaborative efforts are both effective and responsive to the needs of the federal workforce and local communities. Each Board within the regions is led by and comprised of the highest-ranking officials in that geographical area.
Today, the FEB Field Advisory Committee met here in D.C., to kick off the next iteration of the FEBs' collective strategic planning efforts.
Over the past two years, we've all put a lot of thought, time, and energy into modernizing the FEBs, while still keeping the best parts of the core principles and tenants of these bodies, as JFK envisioned 60+ years ago. I couldn't be more excited to think about the promise and possibility this group embodies, particularly under the leadership of Kelly L. DeGraff, anita spinner , Lindsey Griffing , Amber Klemetti, the Zone Director team, and the Field Advisory Committee! 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
