Enter team Endolith as our very first investment from Nucleus Capital Fund II. The leadership team of Liz Dennett, PhD, Christine Green, and Renee Hodges brings phenomenal experience to the table. NetScientific PLC , the technology and life sciences investor, is rolling out what it describes as an evergreen strategy developed to maximise value. Practically, this means generating returns through exits, "targeted growth of a curated portfolio" and "accelerating routes to exit". "By scaling its capital efficient investment model, the group plans to move towards a more evergreen investment model, offering substantial returns from a maturing portfolio," Netscientific said in commentary accompanying its prelims. "The company's goal over the next three years is to increase the net asset value and fair value of the business, advance cohort companies, secure third-party investment rounds, and expand its fund management practice." CEO Dr Ilian Iliev described 2023 as another year of progress as assets under management grew to  £74.0 million (2022: £68.9 million) and are now estimated to be over £100 million. Total... Seraphim Space Investment Trust (SSIT) Q3 2024 financial highlights: 📈 Portfolio valuation up £2.8m to £200.8m, driven by a £1.9m fair value gain and a small FX gain. 🛰 Key drivers of portfolio valuation were increases in the fair value of Xona Space Systems (£4.0m), reflecting a new funding round closed shortly post period end, D-Orbit (£1.3m), due to the full impact of the round, which closed during the quarter, and Spire Global (NYSE: SPIR, £1.0m) due to continued share price increase, and an FX gain of £0.9m, partially offset by reductions in the fair value of Astroscale (£3.9m), reflecting the issue price of its IPO and AST SpaceMobile (NASDAQ: ASTS, £1.2m), due to a share price fall during the quarter. 💰 72% of the portfolio by fair value is funded for at least 12 months, 61% fully funded based on the latest projections from the companies' management teams and 11% funded for 12 months or more from 31 March 2024. While the general VC investment saw a 35% drop in investment between 2022 and 2023, SpaceTech substantially outperformed. ALDORIA closes €10M Series A funding Share My Space ALDORIA announces the close of its Serie A funding round, securing €10M in equity investments from a strong syndicate, bringing the total amount of investment in the company to  €22M to date. The consortium includes Starquest Capital, the European Innovation Council Fund,  the French State, through its “Deeptech 2030” fund managed by Bpifrance, Expansion Ventures, Space Founders France, and Wind Capital. To support this new stage of development, the  company is strengthening its brand. Share My Space becomes ALDORIA, a  former name of the Pleiades nebula.  The funding round was led by Starquest, a dedicated advocate for green financing through Article  9 of the EU Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation. Article 9 mandates that investments must  have sustainable objectives. ALDORIA’s mission to protect critical space assets and resources aligns perfectly with this policy.
